Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
OH had a serious vertigo attack yesterday, they sent him home last night, in his jamas, no slippers. He has medication which I am not happy with, several of the contra indications fit him, so I have rung and asked the GP to call and see him. I am shoving water doen him as much as I can, I do not want dehydration in the equation. He is sleeping most of the time just now.
I have managed to get dressed, the first time since before Christmas. I am going to have to step up to the mark regardless of how I am. I will have to brave the car and go shopping later in the week.
Its a dull morning, but as yet no sign the the storm we are supposed to get. Fingers crossed it goes somewhere else.
Special (((((hugs))))) to those of you who have poorly relatives, especially Jackie and NMIC.0 -

Csarina PLEASE take it easy, do an online shop rather than going out because you think you should - is there nobody else that can go for you? I bet the GP would tell you not to go...2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

It was the hated Nurse Practitioner who came to see OH. He was awake having not long had his lunch. She is quite happy with the drugs, apparently they are the best for vertigo, so she says, I will be checking further.
He has to take the medication for a further 24 hours to make sure the attack has settled. I then have to keep them in and make sure if he starts an attack I can give him one straight away.
I have arranged to meet my daughter on Sunday at Aldi to do some shopping, hopefully I will be ok by then, the 2 weeks will be up at that point. We can get by till then with whats in the fridge and freezer. I still have the turkey breast roast, so could cook that if I have to, it will feed us several meals. I also have a wiltshire ff delivery coming tomorrow to replace the meals OH had whilst I was ill.
I am resting in between seeing to OH, he has started eating, so its small portions and light diet with plenty of fluids.............
Thank you for being so supportive through all this, we will get through somehow. You really are a great group of people I am honoured to know you all.0 -

csarina if your gut instinct says this is not right then insist on seeing your doctor. I know a nurse practitioner who thinks she is more informed than a senior consultant in everything....she isn't...the one in my local surgery is lovely though and will always check with the doctor if I have any questions. You know your hubby the best.
Take care sweetie you need to take care of yourself first remember :A0 -
.... A tough one here. How do i deal with a shirt bought for Grump for Christmas. To put it mildly he looks like a tellytubby in it. I recon its too small but he recons its fine and wont hear of it being exchanged for a bigger size.... Thing is, its me that has to go out with him wearing it.:rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Judi, perhaps a little accident in the washing machine?
Deleted_User I'm sorry to read that things are so difficult and could your daughter do your shopping? I'd be worried about the med too.
Nmlc I'm hoping that your mum does well, I know all must feel very bleak now.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0
