            Evening all!
The last 24 hours or so have been really nice and relaxing. I went to Birmingham yesterday and at one point found myself in Waterstones with a book in my hand called 'Why your life sucks and what you can do about it'. Its quite a gripping read actually and makes a lot of sense. I never thought I was a 'self-help' book person but for some reason this one just clicked with me. (of course you have to overlook the occassional cheesy part!) I also bought a bath bomb from Lush which I shall treat myself to at some point.
Ive had my hair done and whilst the wallet is lighter, so is my hair in both colour and style so im feeling good. I also got free contents insurance today which is a bonus. I came home to find my free lipsticks had been delivered from the easy living promotion I did through quidco.
Im going to spend the evening chilling out.... Its been a long week!

Hope you're going to watch the Rugby - that will CERTAINLY take your mind off of the week you've had. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

            Evening all!
I thought I should post and update the diary on the last couple of weeks events as im about to sign off for the next 3 days or so!
Ok - The moped was found last week, it appears that it was completely trashed and the insurance assessor went to see it yesterday. Its a write off unfortunatley. The insurance assessor company called and said they would tell the insurance company £700 minus the excess, and I should hopefully get a cheque for £550. Whilst I have lost out financially, its not a big loss and was fun while it lasted. I wont be replacing it though because of other factors.
I shall use the money to pay off a lot of the credit card (see signature for debt progress in the last 6 weeks by the way!! :T ) This will help a mortgage application I think!
As a few people know, Ive been having relationship difficulties of late and these are beginning to resolve themselves, things are gradually coming to an end as we ended up having a rather frank discussion about what each of us wanted, and I eventually told him that I was unhappy, felt like I wasnt progressing (financially or career wise) as I wanted to in Bristol and that I wanted to move back to my home town where I have the opportunity to do what I need to do.
He isnt particularly pleased, so we will more than likely end up going our separate ways once I actually begin the moving process. He, whilst not happy, accepts my decision and really understands my reasoning and things are very amicable. Its a shame really, we are just at very different life stages and I dont want to wait until he catches up - its that simple.
I ended up applying for a promotion in a branch near to my home town and I have an interview on Thursday. Its for a branch manager position in Cheshire, im exceptionally nervous, and will be staying at my mums the night before so I can prepare properly.
Her boyfriend is going to be on driving duty that day so I can just chill out - I dont like driving when nervous about something as I feel like I cant breathe!
My Mum is happy im moving back to Stoke area, and the property prices mean its realistic that I would get a mortgage on my own and finally be a homeowner! Its very exciting. I still have a lot of freinds in the area too so I have a ready made social life waiting for me, wheras here ive been very indoorsy. Whilst I will miss my colleagues etc like mad and I was almost in tears on the bus the other morning because I just felt really, I dont know, like its the end of an era. I should be happy to go anyway, ive been a crime magnet of late (scummy druggie came at me with a needle, had the moped stolen, witnessed racially motivated crime out of my window and had to call that in to the police, then my work place was raided Saturday night  Bristol became a crime hotspot overnight!)
When I feel sad though, ive just been telling myself that things will be ok, the only thing that I really have in Bristol that brightens my day is a particular customer who I still have a crush on (totally pathetic by the way, its like watching two teenagers!!) but darent do anything about! I simply cant stay in a city because of a crush on someone who doesnt even live in Bristol anyway! And besides, its just a crush, I should be above such silly things!
Anyway, I like to think of the positives of being promoted and moving, and that is the relocation policy at work. Put it this way - its going to help A LOT!!
So, wish me luck, im going to start preparing for my interview again and get my bag ready to go to my mums after work tomorrow - hopefully my next post will be celebratory! I wont be on till Saturday though as I have a work function on Friday night and a heck of a lot of free whiskey to drink. If im exceptionally lucky, maybe ill see my favourite customer when ive had one or two and ill just go over and tell him he is cute!
p.s. sorry for the length of the post! Congratulations for reading this far!
