Hope you come up with a solution to shortfall.
I can just take the £91.93 back out of the pots, ot if I get any money repaid on the money I lent out, I'll replace it with that and throw any excess at the CC as that's where it should be already. And I buying fence panels, of course.Puddleglum wrote: »Ouch!

I put myself on one hell of a diet, didn't I?! :rotfl:
It's not that terrible - it will require some pot juggling, though.
Thankfully I have some experience in that.Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Soooo...fence estimate finally in...£300, which is very reasonable, but not able to get the wood until the end of the month. I'll take it. I have little choice! :rotfl:
I have being making an effort to eat a bit more healthily and I slipped up today, eating a lot of milk chocolate. I felt absolutely cream crackered this afternoon and I can't figure out of if it was the sugar or the meetings I had to sit in all day!
Speaking of which, due to an unexpected visitor I have had a late 'dinner' of what essentially amounts to a posh cheese sandwich. I hope cheese dreams aren't real! :eek:Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

:easter_ba Happy Easter to any dear readers who may stray past this message! :easter_ba
It has been a while. I'm not doing brilliantly on sticking to the budget this month, to be honest, and I've got 8 days left until payday.
To top it off, I've just had to pay out an unexpected £25 for a membership I was never planning on having to buy. I've cheekily taken it from the pots account and will create a line in my budget for next month to save up for it for next year. I'll technically be down by £25 in the pots, but the rolling nature of the bills that they cover should mean I never notice it.
I think I'm going to have to spend some money on other fence stuff for the fence I'm not replacing as well. Bummer!
I think my broadband and phone deal has just come to an end and that as a result this month's bill might be higher than expected. I need to look up a new one. Grr! Also, my gas and electricity fixed tariff is going to come to an end soon, so I'll need to look at that.
The weather has been nice so I have been enjoying being able to use my washing line. :T
I'm tired...it's off to beddington I go.
Take care. xDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Happy Easter PB!
I've been running challenges to give up sugar this month (shocking timing!). I've imagined you up a beautifully decorated boiled goose egg for Easter.

Hello PB,
I've been reading your diary and I'm really impressed with how quickly you're tackling your debt and managing your budget. As you say each month throws up it's own challenges... especially when a relative can turn up totally on their terms.
I'm dying to know - did you get your bonus in October? Did you put in those applications for promotion/other jobs?
Keep up the great work xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000
Loan 2 £300/£5800

Happy Easter Puddleglum!
Thank you for my beautiful egg. I have (badly) decorated some hen eggs as I'm terrible at art, but I mean well with them, anyway! :rotfl:
*Gives small basket of badly painted eggs*
I've been cutting down on the (milk) chocolate as well and I've eaten some recently (Easter gifts so had to) but I've noticed a massive energy slump afterwards and feeling sleepy. I think it's the sugar. It's horrible!Hello PB,

Hi Kitten!
Thanks for stopping by!
I didn't apply for the job in the end. One of my big decision points has been that I didn't want to change jobs just before what looked like it would be Brexit. (I have had bad experiences being the last in/first out at times of economic uncertainty before that I do not care to repeat.)
*Perks ears* Bonus? What bonus?!
Where I work you only get 1 potential bonus a year and it's normally about April and not paid until several months after.
And thank you for your confidence in my debt-busting ability, but honestly, if feels like I'm not going anywhere particularly quickly. Unfortunately, this next month is going to be even slower as I've had no overtime this month at all so I'll be on a basic wage so I doubt I will be able to pay anything above the min, payment plus perhaps an extra pound or so.
Oh well, there are ups and downs but if I keep going I will get there one day....what seems like a long time in the future! :rotfl:Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Hi PB thank you for my eggs. You do yourself down too much - they look great!
Don't get me started on sugar as you'll never stop me. There is a film which is well worth having a look at if you have time. It's called That Sugar Film and the complete version is available on UToob. It's a kind of Aussie sugar version of Supersize Me where the investigator eats the average daily intake of sugar in hidden sugars for 60 days.
Have a good week!"A thousand candles can be lit from a single candle without shortening the life of that candle."

I believe it's called 'modern art'! :rotfl:Puddleglum wrote: »Don't get me started on sugar as you'll never stop me. There is a film which is well worth having a look at if you have time. I might watch that. I'm only too aware of the dangers of sugar and keep meaning to cut down. I do periodically, then get sucked back in to milk chocolate and white wine. (Which are equal parts  and!)

I've had my payslip for the month and it's going to be quite squeaky as it will be a very flat month for me as I have done no OT.
I will have £29.something left over after my bills/pots etc. will all have been paid and I will need to use that for fence-related purchases.
That's not including the £300 I will need to pay for the fence, which will have to come out of my pots.
I have just applied for a new bank account with one of the banks offering lots of money for switching. The mysterious process said that my application has been submitted and that they will have to ask me for more details and will be in touch but I have yet to receive an email from them. It's all very vague, but I might be £125 better off in August! :TDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20
