£29. something left over is better than not having enough I guess :money: You are really skilled at this plate spinning business now though - p.s. quick - get that one at the end!

I haven't tried changing banks yet. Please keep us posted on how it all goes.

Hope you have a good day and the sun comes out where ever you are :j

Very true, Puddleglum, although after a few conversations today I am thinking of doing something to sabotage myself. (I'll let you know if I decide to go ahead.)

*Grabs teetering plate with toes* Gosh, it doesn't feel like it! I'm glad I'm managing to convince someone, even if that someone isn't myself! :rotfl:

Will do. So far, so little. I'm wondering if I will hear more tomorrow when they run the credit check. TBH, the bonus will be fab, but due to all the bank closures around me recently this will also be one of the few banks with a branch anywhere near me, and certainly nearer than the current bank's nearest branch.

The sun has been very nice today, thank you, although not too hot. How has the weather been near you?

    Hope you're okay PB.

When should the fence be sorted?

Is there overtime again at work this coming month or are you trying to cut back a little on it? I know at one point you seemed to working nearly every hour!

I am, thank you, Wannabe. I hope the same can be said for you. :kisses3:

Fence: soonish. Enquiries are being made. I'm waiting to hear the result of the enquiries. That's as much as I know...

Overtime is back at work. I will be back in there ASAP as I frankly can't afford to say no, but I won't be able to do any for about another fortnight due to scheduling conflicts. Grr!

This month's pay packet will be a bit flat. Next month's should be a bit better off due to some extra things I did at work this month (not overtime) and hopefully the month after's will be decent because of overtime.

I learned that I will get an annual bonus but I'm not sure how much or when I will get it. It won't be until at least July, I think, so I'm not going to worry about it too much yet, but it will be nice when it comes, however much it will be.

Right...I had better go and feed Fido and I before there's a furry rebellion on my hands!

    Take care. x

I am good thank you :)

Fence must be driving you mad! I'm not the most patient if you hadn't already guessed :p

Glad work is okay but make sure you look after yourself! Brilliant news on the bonus though!

Goodnight and hope you have a brilliant week

    Re banks.

I'm lucky enough to be living in the middle of Metro B@nk land. I think they have got a branch as far west as Bristol now. Not sure how far north they have got though.

Open long hours, seven days a week including bank holidays. They are only closed three days a year. My branch has ever got a driver through teller point!

Heard a rumour that they we in trouble a few weeks ago. Really hope they aren't!

I don't think they have got anywhere even close to the north yet...I know that they started in the M25 so the fact they have got as far as Bristol is pretty good...I hope they hang around as I have heard many people say good things about them.

I didn't hear anything back from the bank I have applied to, but I have now and I need to scan in some docs to send them when I get home as I am away a few days with work this week. (I'm messaging from the hotel while watching a film on TV - this is almost exciting! :rotfl:)

I've heard back from the bank and I need to scan some ID docsto them and I've realised that my printer/scanner is broken due to some sort of issue with the printer bit, but that it won't let me scan despite all the scanner bits being perfectly fine. Grr! I hope I can get it fixed and that it doesn't cost silly money. I hate wasting

I did a weekly shop today which came in at pennies under £30.

I paid £10 for my milk for probably the rest of the month.

It's (just over) the end of my gas and electricity deal ending so I have looked for a new deal via MSE Cheap Energy Club. The company that is coming up best for me has a variable tariff, which scares me slightly as it could go up just after I switch, but isnoyingly, based on a really loose estimate of the size of my property only, they want to set up a DD each month for stupid money (£92pcm!) if I switch online automatically.

To put that into perspective, I currently pay my current provider £50pcm and I'm over a month in credit with them, so there's no way I'm doing that! I'll call them during the week and if they are prepared to set the DD to a reasonable amount and honour the referral code, I'll consider moving to them. If not, I'll move elsewhere. I do like that they are 100% renewable electricity and 100% carbon offset, even if they aren't 10% biomethane like my current supplier.

I've been very lazy today. I should have gone to the gym, but I did not, which is naughty (and a waste of money).

I have also drunk a fair amount of wine this week, which is both enjoyable and bad! :p:o

I still need to get a new broadband/phone deal. I try to get a deal with calls to other countries included, but they have gone up a scandalous amount. I wonder if Brexit has had an influence?

My CC minimum payment and small additional payment have gone out bringing my CC balance down to £1500.

Then I only went and won £200 on a raffle I entered ages ago so I have paid that off my CC as well, bringing the balance down to £1300! :T

    Not too shabby! :D

That is seriously good news. It must be the equivalent of a month of Sundays :-)
