Lost a post :mad:

Make do : Made Coronation Chicken on Baked potatoes from LO chicken and the end of a jar of mango Chutney. Not very nice, as the flavours were not in the right balance, but ok.

Mend: Helped DH mend the floor of the hen house. Hens will be cosy for the winter.

Minimise : 13 EBay sales wrapped and ready to post.

Onward with the MMMing

Good Morning,

Make do : Trip around some Charity shops with a friend yesterday. Did not buy lots of 'stuff'. Just made do with one good 'Roman Originals' dress.

Mend : Altered the waist on a skirt. Repaired the seam on a fold away bag.

Minimise : 6 eggs to a friend.

Make do: 3 nights same dinner - Ha*ry B*kers Sausage Casserole

Mend: 4 pairs of DH’s socks darned & button sewn on DH’s trousers

Minimise: Water from the wm overflow, dirt from soffits, fascias & garage door. 3 still boxed jigsaw puzzles into cs bag

Make Do: Food from freezer

Mend: sewed a button on my trousers (cannot for the life of me understand why I had put them in wardrobe with a button missing )

Minimise: Rusty tin of wood preserver, empty can of glue for Tip

Make Do: DSis used food from larder & freezer, to go with the chicken she bought

Mend: Darned a pair of DH’s socks, mended 2 pairs of kni*ckers

Minimise: King size duvet cover, 2 matching pillowcases, a towel, a pillow protector - into CS bag

We made a start on sorting out the garage today, and seeing if we can Ebay or do a carboot with some of the stuff. OH found his little 2017 pocket diary which he lost quite early on in the year, so it's now my lovely little shopping list pad

Mend: nothing

Make do using veg from the garden. Reusing a box in the greenhouse to store fertilizer etc in.

Mend i have repaired the hem on a skirt and a ripped seam on a shirt of DS2

Minimize boxes amongst other things.
