Good luck with the move today LL.
At least you've lovely dry and warm weather. I'm looking forward to hearing all about the home "fabbing"
SG0 -
I'm feeling a bit down. After all my efforts at fabbing I have developed a really sore itchy rash on both arms. Eczema. apparently to go with my hayfever and asthma. It's quite unsightly at the moment but I've got creams and lotions from the doc to fix it. I can't understand what has suddenly caused it. I've never had it before and I have only been using "simple" products on my skin. Still, I suppose now I know what it is it can be dealt with.
Was supposed to be going out for lunch today but had to cancel because it clashed with the doctors appointment. Maybe go later in the week.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
tonis friend how annoying to get an eczema flare up. Have you thought about keeping a diary to see if there is anything triggering it? For example, certain foods, clothes, washing detergent, soap?0
-
That's a good idea if it starts to happen again, Chanie. It's never happened before and I can't think of anything that might have triggered it this time. Doctor says it should clear up in about 10 days. He's also given me a moisturising lotion which is marvellous. It makes your skin so soft.
I've got myself into a bit of a muddle. I thought I had a hairdressing appointment today but it turns out it was last week and I've missed it. Shall have to ring and apologise and reschedule.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hello Ladies,
TF it is a shame you find yourself with eczema. It can suddenly affect a adult who has never previously had eczema. I hope you do not continue to have flare ups and do not let it stop you fabbing, as you are doing so well.
I have pompholyx eczema which is a form of eczema where I get blisters on my hands and feet. Started out of the blue a few years ago.
I am trying to get everything ready for my son to go off to University on Friday, and today I have acute stomach pains. They started just after midnight last night and I have been woken up in pain so many times throughout the night, so now I feel completely wiped out.0 -
That's interesting, Sugarbaby. I knew you were more prone to eczema if you had asthma and hayfever (which I have) but I didn't realise it could just appear out of the blue. Doc said to apply this moisturiser six or seven times a day. It's in a huge bottle so I've decanted some into a small tub so I can carry it around in my handbag. It won't stop me fabbing!
I hope your stomach pains clear up soon. Take care.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Sorry to hear about the eczema TF and the stomach pains sugarbaby.:)
At least it's getting cooler so covering your arms up won't be such an issue TF and it's good that the cream makes your skin soft.:D
Does your son need a load of kitchen things and bedding sugarbaby? The shops seem to be full of things aimed at students at the moment. I think it's such an exciting time for them.
Dancing again for me this evening. It's dull but dry here and still warm enough not to need tights:j. I'm hoping to hang on into next month if possible. I'm going to wear a cotton skirt tonight but in a dark colour so it won't look strange.
It's my DH's birthday on Friday so we'll be out for several meals over the next week or so starting with lunch on Thursday. It's a strange time of the year for how to dress. I'll have to consult the weather forecast.:)0
