Book 67:
8/10. Inspired by the "Preparing for Christmas" thread, I took this book out from the library but would be happy to add it to my collection if I find it at the right price in the chaz. I loved "Toast" when I read it some years ago but since then his writing has really matured, and its this that make the book great (even if I am less than persuaded of his love of cold weather). Many of the recipes I'll never use but its practical for the inexperienced cook, as well as offering ideas and unusual taste combinations for the rest of us.
Its probably the last book I'll complete this year, although in my usual greedy fashion I have plenty that I am part-way through!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
