Shiels it is not my ribs that are hurting with coughing for some reason it is my back. Especially at the bottom. Muscular I suppose. Glad your not hurting any more. Went down to supermarket and peeps are stocking up on bread and milk as there is supposed to be more snow here tonight. Thought those days were gone ( buying 3/4 loaves at a time) I bought two just in case DS and DIL run out as GK's take a packed lunch every day except a Friday. Will stick it in freezer if they don't need it. Leanfun glad you had a good evening out. Sounds as if you thoroughly enjoyed it. It is International Whisky Day today. so may indulge in one tonight. May help cough lol.;)

Rose hope you have had a better night. hope the whisky on its special day did some good.

We picked Grandson up yesterday from childminder and he said its only two days to go before his cousins come. Just hope they are able to fly from Glasgow tomorrow.

Well yesterday the postman brought me one of the Corbyn annuals. As there were 500 of them going. its lined up to give to a family member. ho ho.

hope everyone has a good weekend. Be lucky.

Morning peeps. Another cold wet one here. No snow yaaaaaaaay. Had a pretty good nights sleep last night only woke up twice coughing. Don't know if the whisky helped but it was warm going down lol. Picking GK's up from school in afternoon so going to make pitta pizzas with them for their tea. Hope everyone is well . Be lucky.

    Good Morning,

Sun shining away here but we had really heavy rain through the night. It might even had been hailstones at one point - woke me up anyway.
Got my hair cut yesterday so much more manageable now - felt a bit like an old English Sheepdog before it. Think I need some highlights now though so booked them in 6 weeks time.

Well done on annual leanfun - saw them mentioned on IWIWIW.

Glad you slept better rose. DH loves a whisky before bed. I'm afraid I can't stand the stuff although I know quite a lot about it. Have been round several distilleries etc and DH tells me about the different malts. Also enjoyed the Whisky Experience in Edinburgh where I did taste a few malts (although DH finished them for me!)

Great you got into the garden Alfie. Ours is pretty sodden. Love the pizza pic.

Hope everyone has a lucky day.

hiya, just in case anyone else in the inn got the message
for password change I emailed the forum team for
    verification of it,
& also spotted MSE Andreas post in Site Feedback
    Password update prompt
so it is a genuine message.

hi rose, yes I wondered what was going on & was very suspicious
with the message & didn't change until I emailed the team then checked the site feedback board,
apparently you can still keep your old password if you want according to lots of other posts on the thread/s,
there's also lots of feedback in CCC on it so at least it
was worthwhile checking just in case.
all the years on here & it's the first time I recall it ever happening!
