Morning feels a bit cooler here but still very hot here.
Alfie managed to finish ironing yesterday. We too watched RAF yesterday. Great air show with all the history. You must be very proud.
Sheils hope you enjoy show today. Great you were able to walk canals,
Mummy2threeboys hope your toe heals quickly. Lo at moving your bed around. We did that years ago and know it is disorientating.
Love the red waistcoat Alfie. M&S have been doing a good trade. We will see what happens tonight. They have done well to come so far.
Good luck everyone.0 -
Neighbour has just washed a window for me as she was doing one of her own because window cleaner is not due until next week. Mr seagull has been dropping deposits to us. lol that seagull is a blooming nuisance. Bin men are due again on Saturday so no doubt he will probably bring his friends again. Sun is shining here now and it has turned out a lovely afternoon.0

Indie just seen this comp
http://www.military-airshows.co.uk/competitions/bigginhill2018ticketcompetition/bigginhillticketcompetition2018.htm
The price for each ticket was originally £29. No wonder so many went to the Mall yesterday for the amazing display.
Alfie it is come on England all the way. We can but hope.0 -
Morning folks. Not as cloudy this morning. Still warm but has been easier to sleep. RAF flypast was fab alfie. Where are you staying in Blackpool shiels? It's an old haunt of mine re conferences. So have stayed in a few nice places not many of them have air conditioning in bedrooms though. Hope everyone is well. Hugs for those needing one.
We are at the Premier Inn at Bispham rose. You walk to the end of Red Bank Road and turn onto Devonshire Road. It has been extended but no air conditioning added. Used to always stay at The Sheraton , North Shore as food and entertainment great. It has been bought over now and some rooms updated but price is seriously up on all the rooms - doen't make sense to me! Food isn't as good either. Used to like the old Glasgow owner. Real typical old Glasgow guy.
Reminded me of my grandad although about a foot taller.
Really enjoyed the show thanks leanfun. Having a little break and then going for fish and chips along the road. Haven't had proper fish and chips for ages.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

:hello: Good morning everyone
I hope you're all well - it's going to be another warm & dry
day but apparently that may change tomorrow in some parts
of Hampshire with heavy thundery downpours. :j Got fingers
n' paws crossed! :j Would love a decent bit of rain!
The downside is that the weekend will be another scorcher!
Had a fairly productive day yesterday - starting with very
early shop, washed car (which was absolutely filthy),
managed a fair bit of housework & ended the day giving
the garden a bit of a tidy up!
Such a shame England lost out to Croatia but so very proud
of them all. They'll be coming back as heroes. It's wonderful
how they lifted the spirits of our nation. :T Not keen on the
fact that they'll be playing in the 'losers game' against Belgium
on Saturday though!
Sounds as if you had a lovely time sheils. Hope you enjoyed
your fish 'n chips yesterday! Have a safe journey home today.
Included the following info in my Betty post this morning:
Why count butterflies?
Butterflies react very quickly to change in their environment which
makes them excellent biodiversity indicators. Butterfly declines are
an early warning for other wildlife losses.
That’s why counting butterflies can be described as taking the
pulse of nature.
The count will also assist us in identifying trends in species that
will help us plan how to protect butterflies from extinction, as well
as understand the effect of climate change on wildlife >>>

Have a lovely and lucky day all & please take care whatever
your plans.

Morning dull and not so hot here this morning.
Sheils pleased you enjoyed the show. There is nothing like seeing something live instead of on TV. Have a good journey home.
Yes, Alfie overall the team did exceptionally well to go so far.
Yesterday I had two wins. One on Twitter and until it comes I do not know what the prize is. It was Wimbledon related competition. The other was a book as I can!!!8217;t find it on here I think it must have been on Twitter.
Take care all. Hugs for anyone needing one.0 -
Morning folks. Lovely and sunny again here this morning. Got woke up at 3am because someones alarm went off. It then went off again at 3.45 and repeated until just after 8am. So a bit tired. Saw an engineers van when I looked out at around 7am. Shame about the football but they did well. Got housework done early though and bed is stripped and neighbour hung it out for me. She is going to bring it back in when she gets back from shops. (bless her) I am so gratefull. Hope everyone is well.0

Was able to get a few things I need done in the garden organised for tomorrow. Friends brother has been working all week sorting out a new play area for the nursery next door. He still has a couple of things to do in the morning and has a delivery of bark coming to put down on Saturday when it is closed. So when that is done he is coming over to me. Neighbour got me a bottle of Macallan Malt from shop as I know he wont accept payment from me. Last time I bought his two grandkids a pressie because he would not accept anything. Got everything he needs for garden in shed. Making him a curry for lunch so he wont starve lol. Every time I make batch curry for friend she phones him because he loves it. Was a lovely afternoon here. Hope you are all well.0

Morning, well done on the wins leanfun.It.s a dull start to the morning here, and a lot cooler. Could do with a little rain now, took sons GF into work and all the grass verges are yellow. The bunnies were out having breakfast but not a lot of greenery around for them. They did say it looks like the weather will change next week ( of course it will the kids start their summer holidays down here next week). Haven't decided what i'm doing today other than washing. Hope you all have a lucky day.0
