£195 lighter. But car passed the MOT.
I managed to get through the day, Biggest kept me supplied with medication and drinks. But I left work as soon as the shop shut.
I am home now, time for more paracetamols and fresh tea!
Dgd has gone out to play.
So feet up and relaxWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
So sorry you're ill, Moo. I hope you'll feel better in the morning x0

Keeping hydrated and taking paracetamol is the best way to deal with a virus. I know you're intelligent enough to know antibiotics are pointless. I hope you get better soon. My son was under the weather with this, or a very similar virus, last week and is feeling much better now.
When you're facing the public from day to day, it becomes more difficult to protect yourself. My rule is to never get closer than 6ft to anyone suffering...and a mile from any sneezers!!
Washing hands regularly, as well as using antibacterial soap helps to keep it at bay.0 -
Unfortunately doing clothes fittings gets you up close to people! Although to be honest the problem is the smelly feet when turning up trousers and body odour occasionally! We have air freshener for after they depart, and frebreeze for somewhat whiffy items! We try to make sure items are clean, have been known to say sorry you will have to clean it first, but if someone else is also in the shop I don’t like to tell them!
I wasn’t too bad in the night, but I am looking forward to coming home after the school run and not rushing around. Mum doesn’t want me to go there if I am not well. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I have pottered. The bathroom was done. The kitchen surfaces done, the floor washed. Etc
The frontroom tidied, vacuumed, table cleared and polished. Net curtains shortened and up. Washing moved on, twice.
Considering I am not 100% I am happy with that.
Now I am having a cuppa soup and going to relax for an hour before I have to collect Dgd.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Always been a doer! But I am irratic about the house, the fact that I wasn’t dashing around after anyone meant that I had time to notice that I really needed to claim my Home back. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
