    Anther not good day SW wise, as I!!!8217;ve not done any shopping yet and DH had a recall to the hospital at noon. Happy to report that, following all sorts of tests and repeated blood tests, they have now confirmed it!!!8217;s a very bad flu!!!8217; !!!8211; on Thursday they were certain it wasn!!!8217;t that. He had had the jab, so dread to think what he!!!8217;d have been like without it.

    No more calamities to report, thank goodness, unless you call missing the trip north for the cup tie today and missing a 1-3 win, a calamity.

    I!!!8217;m trying to decide what to do about car. I had been thinking about changing it and now my hand is forced. But do I spend a couple of grand on fixing it first? Garage says it could last a day or a couple of days without the new steering rack, or do I just trade it in as is and accept a lower price? I!!!8217;ve just left it at the garage with everything else that!!!8217;s been happening.

    Glad your DH came through tests OK greentiger . I think I might cut your losses with the car although it's a hard one. You'll have to weigh up how long you need to keep it to get your money back on the repairs.

    I had to take some out of the freezer - to make room for the meat and peas from Waities!

    I am supposed to be emptying the freezer - instead it is crammed and I have a load of APG needing using.

    I really am not moaning..... but I am.
