Evening all. £20.25 for me today from matched betting.

Fantastic result Milly-Ann-Molly - well done!

What is everybody doing with their 'extra funds' they're making from these daily tasks? Would love to hear the stories.

Mine isn't particularly exciting. I was using the money to pay off my credit card, but now that is done, I'm splitting all extra daily earnings 3 ways:
1/3rd into my matched betting pot (more funds = more participation)
1/3rd towards paying off our family holiday this Summer (first one abroad in....too long!)
1/3rd towards paying off my mortgage (9 months shaved off already, and nearly £700 saved in interest)

Mike, would you mind PM me when you have a minute please.
  • Lady day of the month not a bad one!
    £5.15 from AttaPoll
    20p from citizen me
    £2 street bees :)
  • £42.31 matched betting. Takes my January monthly total to £1,119.48. :j

A good couple of days for tips for me....... £19.50 which takes my total for the month to £163.14 :j

Well done everyone and see you in February :D

When I first started on this thread a few years ago, any extra income was to try and make some over payments on the mortgage which I did.

Then we got into nice holidays and any extra went into saving for them.

Still in the process of saving for this years hol but I am hoping that in time, I can start over paying on the mortgage again.

Great to read some of the super totals here:T and a really big well done to all of you for making efforts to make more money again this month

Over the years I have been able to put most of the monies I make on here into savings and am now pleased to be able to be making a little interest on it every month.

Thanks to Aesop and all the other lovely people on this thread that have been, and still are, the most wonderful support and inspiration to all of us, I have been able to garner a few acorns and watch them slowly growing.

My total's a bit down this month, as a bit too much RL happening and getting in the way of making money. However, I'm declaring at £249.82/310 so not entirely disappointed. A big thanks to shariann as well, for taking on doing the end-of-month lists :T

see I want to be where you are in a year's time. clear house (no clutter), maybe just a box of selling stuff that gets sold and out of the house each month and a savings account with money in!

this has been a rubbish month for me money making wise. I don't even get a chance to read Martins news letter lol

Been rubbish for me too, Aesop:o. I decided to read the newsletter as soon as I saw the email this morning because it jogged my memory I needed to check if I was still in time for the 15 months for the price of 12 breakdown cover Martin mentioned weeks ago. I cancelled my AA renewal this week, my membership ends next week, so I need to fix something else up asap.

While I had the time I checked the latest 'fixes' on the Energy Club as I expected I could save a lot even after the £30 exit charge. I was disappointed to find a couple of the providers (who I've never even heard of) will be the same as I'm paying now and all the rest will be more expensive than the deal I'm on now with Scottish Power . No money saving to be made there then:mad:

I'm silver with AA and I called up about something and the guy decided I was calling to reduce my monthly premiums :D:T so he did lol.

I bought DH cover brand new not as a referral, went through tcb and saved a fortune.

  • Morning everyone :hello:

I received the following payments in the last week of the month:

    Mintvine - £8.80
    Panelbasenet - £12.60
    PA - £52.19
    Qmee - £2.82

My monthly total came to £180.08 meaning I bet my target woohoo!

cufc_mike I'm putting half of this months money towards my debts and the other half towards my savings. Ideally I'd like to put it all towards the credit cards but I have a few expenses coming up (insurance, factor fees etc) plus I need some new clothes and my laptop is on the blink.
