What car do I want?

I want to change my car. Im not really very knowledgeable about the makes and models out there.
Is there a website or app where I can enter my long list of criteria and that would suggest models that might be worth considering?
I have been on "honest John" and seen a very simplified search facility, bit it is very general where my criteria are perhaps more specific...i.e. I want heated front seats!!
Id be grateful if anyone could suggest how I might refine my search from home before randomly trawling local dealers.I think I want something nearly new rather than new.
TIA

Budget? Usage? Driving history? Experience level? Size of vehicle?
Could be anything from a Fiat to a Ferrari from what you've given us so far...0 -
There are a whole load of criteria you can choose on the honest john tool
https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/chooser/
but admittedly heated seats is not there as most models will have variants with them.
If you rummage around autotrader you can add oddities like heated seats to the search tool under 'more details.' I just tried for you and ... 247,582 cars found!0 -
Autotrader. Type in “heated seats” and off you go. Then you can start to narrow your search bit by bit by fuel type, gearbox etc etc. Easy.
Eg- https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-search?sort=price-asc&radius=40&postcode=bn424sn&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&keywords=Heated%20seats0 -

Well, I was really asking for an app or website where I could list my criteria, but if you think you can help if I list my criteria.....here goes!!
Petrol
heated front seats
up to 4 years old
No budget limit....well, realistically £50k
Minimum of 2 cupholders in the front
2 to 5 seats
Glass roof or sunroof or convertible
4 wheel drive or option
Manual gears
reasonable fuel economy
Mileage: less that 8k per year
Sat Nav
DAB radio
Handsfree mobile phone
parking sensors/camera minimum
Reasonable VED
Black paint
That covers my preferences
Any suggestions? Thanks:A Goddess :A0 -

Evoque convertible. Sorted. Horrible things, but fit all your criteria.
Either that or a BMW xDrive cabrio, or an Audi something-Quattro.0 -

Always tickles me when people want to spend a lot of good money on doing 8k a year and then get fussy about the VED... and cupholders are really still a think to choose cars by. (I did a consumer test on the Toyota RX, probably 20 years ago now, and they were fixated on cupholders. They didn't seem interested that we couldn't work the seat folding mechanism).
2 - 5 seats. Is that really that you only expect to carry a second person max, but don't really fancy a sports car?
We seem to have dismissed 4x4s by style, so the only one to suggest there is something like the Audi Q3 - unique styling that avoids being off-roading while still doing the SUV bit.0 -

I understand where you are coming from, but I need a car for very important journeys where I can't use public transport and, well, Ive got a nice car already but the lack of cupholders really bugs me! (along with the fact that it is diesel and the doors are so wide its not practical for the ubiquitous narrow parking lots that seem to be everywhere.......)
I wouldn't rule out a sports car and don't remember ever having to carry more than one passenger. I hate paying tax so low VED and good fuel economy are more important to me than low insurance or running costs for example....yup, I may be illogical/bonkers but if Im spending my money on a car, it needs to fit the majority of my criteria!! Otherwise I;ll stick with my current compromise vehicle, which at least has a nice meaningful registration plate (which I might transfer if I get a different car)
Thanks for you input xx:A Goddess :A0
