  • I was lucky enough to find some CC41 cotton sheets on Ebay. Two double sheets, amazingly sturdy, cost me £20 and are indestructible, I think. Being pure cotton there are no sweat problems either. obviously it's a matter of luck and patience, waiting for these items to come up, but if you see them, nab them!
  • I bought a cotton set from Dorma almost 30 years ago and its still going strong, duvet cover 2 pillow cases and a fitted sheet, I also got a flat sheet at the same time which we used to use as a table cloth when all the family came round. Two leaves in the table, it fitted perfectly.

Ikea 100% Linen is the best. Hardwearing and heat dissipating.
  • M&S have got a Home Sale on at the moment. Some good bedding bargains there.
    Normal people worry me.

Is the company you've recommended wholesale or retail?

    It says on their website:
Linen Mart is an online Hotels and Hospitality product supplier that provides discounted hotel linen to our valued customers. Our strategy to supply hotel products online helps us maintain a Direct Sales Model which creates a convenient & transparent shopping Experience. Our Direct sales Model saves our customers money, increase customer satisfaction, and distinguish us from other hotel bedding suppliers.

We specialize in wholesale bedlinen for hotels & discounted hotel linens. In addition to being hotel linen supplier Canada, hotel blanket supplier, & hotel guest soap supplier, bulk toiletries supplier & luxury linen supplier we are also a hotel pillow supplier and a supplier for wholesale hotel amenities and hotel bathroom accessories. We brand our products for quality and consistency.
I couldn't find any prices for shipping from Canada to the UK.
Can you give us an idea of how much it would cost for shipping?

    and a different comment.
Further back in the thread someone talks about using a top sheet and a duvet. You might as well have an eiderdown.
The whole point is that the duvet is snuggled round you , moulds to your body and creates a cocoon of warm air. That can't happen if you have a sheet as well.

I've had some nice bedding from John Lewis- bought 2nds in their sale
