    John Lewis for bedding anyway.

    Their basic range is great.

We’ve had every other range going, including Marks, Dunelm, John Roccha, but nothing comes near JL.

I second John Lewis bedding. Though tbh also have some good stuff from M&S. My absolute best bargain pure cotton duvet set came from Lidl several years ago, but that seems to have been a one off.

Best Buy ever, worth looking to see when the next blue cross day sale is

I also use a top sheet ESP as being a lady of a certain age with the dreaded night sweats

It washes up lovely and is lovely and crisp but at the same time soft as silk

I tried linen for the first time. It is very hard wearing. I bought mine from an outlet shop. The sheet was £55 reduced from £110 and the duvet cover was £100 reduced from £200. (He3ls.) It is a total joy to sleep on and it will last many years. Previously I had a high count Egyptian cotton pair of sheets that lasted 15 years before they gave up. So, good sheets are 'cheaper' than cheap sheets in the long run and so enjoyable :)

My most comfortable bedding ever came from QVC . It's from their Cozee Home range .
It is made of microfleece . My husband is a warm sleeper so I was nervous about trying this out .
They sell sets consisting of two pillowslips & a fitted bottom sheet , which is what I tried out initially .
It is just wonderful & there are no complaints from my husband .

    Is that a US company?
Just to point out that this is a UK website.

    And - from the website:
There is truly no place like home! Plush Bedding and Home D!cor was born in the spring of 2017. Inspired by Janine Squire, an Interior Design Enthusiast who struggled to find gorgeous bedding sets and home accessories that would reflect her style. The challenge to find unique and functional home accessories led to the sourcing of quality suppliers that were able to bring her designs to life.

I second John Lewis or M&S.
but if you want the 'cream of the crop' go for The White Company. Their bedding and pillows/ protectors are just 'out of this world!'
Bought some in 2005 still in good condition. Have been known to take the bedding down to the dry cleaners to iron (when life gets very busy).

If you're looking for percale or sateen bedding, Bedroommood is quite good.
