Morning CG :) I know what you mean about not being able to do things. It's a case of the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. I think it's worse when you're sat looking at things all day, so getting out and about, even if it's just for a walk will good.

I would say the majority of people in wheelchairs probably aren't 'ill'. Like you their parts just don't work. But the positive side is it's temporary, so hang on to that thought.

I had some cracking surveys yesterday and managed to cash out and build up enough to cash out again when they've cleared. Don't expect that to happen again for a while though.

Good luck with the sleeping tablets, just take one day at a time. xx

    Thanks tea,

Day 4 last night with no sleep tablets
    2 nsd day

Had hard day with pain, so didn't get up until 3pm and slept and slept. When I did get up I felt so refreshed that I managed to blitz the house until 6pm. With my issues it wasn't a dull clean, more sedate but even do it was jobs done.

Money wise joint account looking dire. Had to order DD1 sone new done shoes because her old ones are coming away from the soles. Have tried flying them, but not sure how successful it's been. Hubby gave them polish so hopefully they'll do until the new Clark's delivered.

Need to sit down tomorrow and look at the account properly.

Awake early and feeling really tired, after a rubbish night's sleep. I'm determined to stay off the sleeping tablets, so perhaps need better balance of my pain meds.

At least I can make the most of the extra hours by catching up on our money and other bits. Joint account is really low but I've had to order new school shoes for DD1, dog food (huge 25kg bag) and remaining difference is food shopping bits hubby has picked up.

9 days to hubby's pay day
4ish days to my sick pay, which will only be a weeks £85ish

Joint bank balance £147.08 / available balance £43.78
My accounts £47.55 New York savings £410.10

Free money - surveys & receipt savers
    Shoppix - 2545
    Receipt hog 1723
    Quidco to be confirmed £87.93
    Prolific - confirmed £5.09 / £3.17
    Onepoll - £18.00

Afternoon CG :) Hurrah to having a good few hours and managing to do some cleaning but BOO to the rough night. :(

Did you get an indication of how long it will be before somebody can visit you re. ESA? Fingers crossed for sooner rather than later.

Your list of points/cash backs is looking really good. PA just cleared some more money for me so I've been able to cash out another £5, It went into PP within minutes as well which is very unusual :)

Great to see the NY savings are still on your list :T Have a lovely weekend. xx

The job centre said they'd be in touch and they'd give me a day or so notuce. The good thing is it's back dated, but the sooner it happens the better.

I've still got the pip assessment over my head after they cancelled it. I don't think they'll give me any points, but you don't if you don't try.

Had a lovely day today with one of my best friends. A trip to a local garden centre so my account took a battering. I bought lunch (my turn) and I bought myself to a sweet little small bird feeder.

Managed to swipe a couple of little surveys today, they all add up!!

Today was a nsd which is more accident than luck. I had so much pain last night that I had my highest dose of everything including sleeping tablets and woke up and 3pm. Hadn't been organised enough to grab a pork joint yesterday and hubby couldn't be bothered on way back from rugby so they ate chicken American style spice dippers things, chips I made in air fryer and a good old tin of sweet corn. I had toast and a tea cake as technically it was my breakfast.

I spent 5 hours ironing after losing my poop at rest of the family at the state of their rooms and common areas. I've helped both kids tidy recently and their rooms looked like pap. To make my mood worse the eldest has taken over spare room and is writing revisions all over the floor. Grrrrrrrr! I cried for 20minutes whilst making their tea and have had good sob for 30minutes whilst hubby asleep.

I'm such an awful person asking them to tidy, but it's just out of frustration. They really don't understand my life. Leave things in floor and I can't get through with the wheelchair. I hate myself but for going on and on, but my only wish is they keep their sh&t tidy.

Apologies if anyone reads this for the rant but I'm so blinking emotional and angry. I live with slobs fullstop. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Aww CG no wonder you lost it. You're not asking them to scrub the floors are you, just to pick up after themselves. I have it here. I am fed up to the back teeth of untangling DS's undies from his school trousers that he takes off and just throws over the banister every night. No matter how many times I tell him and when I'm really p&&&ed off make him come up and do, the next night is just the same.

DD's room was a pig sty when she lived here. I literally couldn't walk across the floor! We don't live like that so I don't understand it :( She used to take over the dining room table with notes and papers when she was revising and drove me batty.

It's probably of no help knowing you're not alone with this kind of thing but I do know how you must be feeling. Feel free to rant away. I'd put money on every parent who reads this being able to relate ;)

Hope your pain is a bit more manageable today. Try and have a good one. xx

Thanks tea, I think they're all slobs! I have managed to get my three (inc hubby) to realise it only gets washed if it's in the basket. There's no longer a wash fairy who empty gym bags, picks up underwear from the en-suite or from the corner on the landing.

I just couldn't believe it, the state of their rooms after I'd struggled on crutches. My meltdown seems to have had a positive effect and they've all clicked on and had a whizz around. I just can't believe it! Why not be like it all the time?

I've finally finished the ironing pile that has sat there since my accident. It's been lazing away gaining then losing clothes since August. Well no more! I've finally reclaimed the back of the settee.

I think it's the nicer weather, it makes you feel like cleaning, tidying and painting. (That abd the fact I've got two friends staying for few days over Easter)

Money wise things are tight...our account is at £2.48, with £2.48 available.

My pay day tomorrow is showing as pending £91 and hubby's will be on the 31st. At least car has fuel, cupboards and freezer stocked.

    Surveys
    Pa £10.28 cleared / £1.0& pending
Onepoll £18.55 min pay out £25

Receipts - won't cash in until November as if for doc
    Receipt hog points - 1842
    Shoppix - 3190

I need to tally up our repayments with made on the debt. I know it's roughly £14125 at the minute do we'll be under 14k in April :j I'm gutted we've not be able pay off more. My pay tomorrow is my last sick pay. Officially I have no money coming in. I currently have an esa claim and pip claims pending both doing their interviews at home on the same day next week. I should definitely qualify fir the esa so looking forward to the back payments on that. The pip I'm not sure if I qualify, but time will tell. I still am unable to walk 1m unaided so fingers crossed.

Morning CG :) Just popping in to say hello. Hope everything is OK with you and the family and that you had a nice Mother's Day. School finishes this Friday in this neck of the woods but I think that's very early. Not complaining though, a more leisurely start to the day is always welcome :D xx
