Morning CG. That doesn't sound like lazy - more like necessity
Hope you're not in as much pain today and can move around a bit more. Must be so frustrating for you at times, but keep your chin up.
I'm out for coffee today and really looking forward to getting out of the house. x0 -
Oh, we cross posted lol. What a coincidence. Hope the cold doesn't linger too long. I could do a fruit juice but the thought of a veggie one doesn't appeal at all, even though I do like my veg :rotfl: Well done on the NSD's. You're far more strict than me and I'm only one in front of you! x0

That was great timing lol!
It seems I've come out with a full cold, so desperately need to get rid of it quickly! I love spinach so throw in two frozen lumps, apple, pineapple and grapes. It's a really sweet juice and very filling. Will try bit if carrot and a banana as have no pineapple. I've not slept well so not feeling the love today!
Today is will be another NSD number 9/16 :j so definitely pleased with it. Our joint account has caught up and balance / available both say only £85.04. Doesn't seem much money left for such a long bit of month! We do have food wallet & cleaners cash in the house.
Going to spend the day sorting out the stack of paperwork do I can finish my tax returns.....boooooooring day! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
Oooh tea, I've found a fab app for tracking our nsd! It's called habit tracker and it shows you a calendar which you can colour red or green! I've got 9 lovely greens and I've added details of what he bought on the red days. I think it's going to be a great motivator. I wanted 20 nsd this month, so need to get my finger out! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230

Yes, I've been thinking about your cold and timing CG. Fingers crossed it's gone soon.
Ooh thanks for the heads up about the tracker - I'll have a look this evening. With charts and coloured trackers in our lives how on earth can we go wrong. :rotfl: Blimey. Well impressed you're aiming for 20 NSD's. Go you.0 -
I never did find anything to colour in, so I drew 2019 in block letters and then filled each with 375 circles to colour Witt each one being £20. After my initial exciting of colouring £400 I'm fed up waiting for more!
Let's hope the stamp duty refund comes soon. It should be £780 so going to clear every school trip and scout payments which is a fortune!
Scouts £60
French trio balance £50
DofE £140
Spain exchange £285
Have budgeted to pay them all of over next three months but it'd feel great clearing all £545! The extra will go off the credit card. Was going to add to EF, but credit card is playing on my mind. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
Yep, stickers and colouring are fun but there's not enough activity when connected to paying off a CC. :rotfl:
Fingers crossed for the stamp duty coming sooner rather than later. That will feel so good paying off all those things. You could always add a little bit to the EF if it makes you feel better although you've got a good amount in there so I guess the MSE way would be to get ride of the CC.
Spain 'exchange'! Does that mean you're down to have a student stay with you at some point?
Hope the cold is on it's way out. x0 -
I am so pleased to be back online trying to catch up with everyone before I visit my own diary in case I lose it again
sorry you are ill, you need to clear that as soon as possible
stay in the warm (staying in helps on the NSD's as well) hope the children and the hubby dont get what it is
as for the colouring I too made my own chart but saving is now impossible as every penny goes to the house fund - after that we can of course put some away for future bills or an emergency fund -
just hoping when I have moved we can start doing some ebaying - anything to bring in a bit extra
I think Credit cards plays on very ones mind - even with no CC at the moment I still think should I get a cashback one but know if I do DH will put stuff on it and not pay it off at the end of the monthEmergency fund £10,000
Several categories with savings in
Cars, house maintenance, birthdays
Etc I have about 10 categories
Really happy to be debt free after being a compulsive spender0 -
Hello lovelies,
Cold seems well routed and I've lost my voice. I'm going to dose up on loads of vit c and lemon/honey drinks. Just hoping it goes soon!
The Spanish exchange isn't a typical exchange as in having a child to stay. They stay in hotel but go to school for couple of days. Think it's down to safeguarding. Eldest went last year so youngest super excited because it's a great trip.
I'd love to add to EF but need to get the credit card smashed as deal finished on 1/12/19. I've got tax return to do as well over next few days so should be another chunk to use. I'm really looking forward to hubby paying his overpayments back. April will be not allowed month! :j
Aaleigh, you'll soon get settled abd your budget sorted once you've moved. You're right though credit cards do pay on your mind. I don't worry about the two loans, but I need to bust the CC. I refuse to pay a balance transfer to move it to another debt! Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
