Is this a neutral?

Here's another option...
Don't leave any feedback and forget about it.I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.0 -
I think it would be petty to give a neutral. You were in no hurry for the item, it's arrived, presumably it's in good shape. What will you give the seller of the next purchase which arrives a week, rather than a day, late - a negative? Then what do you give as feedback if another purchase turns out to be absolutely dreadful?
I wasn't suggesting a negative I was suggesting a neutral.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
You can't say your are in no rush for an item and then complain when it is posted later than what was said or when they marked it.
There could be loads of reasons why it was actually sent later than when they marked it. It is likely they marked it as dispatched when they packaged it up but didn't get to the post office till later.
Really though as others have said, with Christmas and you saying there is no rush then it would now be unfair of you to give a neutral. If you really feel it deserves a neutral then no-one can stop you but I would not bother leaving any. Even a low star for postage would be unfair given the circumstances.0 -

You have misread my post.0 -
I treat "dispatched" as the date my order was processed by the seller not necessarily the date is was actually sent.0

I've had many a seller lie or exaggerate about their dispatch time, I certainly wouldn't give them a negative or neutral. Probably just would'nt give them any feedback at all.0

APL=Automated Postage Label - the one you get over the counter at the PO. That's the correct term for it. The point being that the item was marked as dispatched on the 21st (Thu) but not taken to the PO until the third working day after (Tue 27th). Yes - it might have been a genuine error in that the seller marked it when packed with the intention of posting later that day but it's still a little misleading to the buyer reading the update. I'd give feedback based on the item but reduce the stars for delivery time.theonlywayisup wrote: »I still don't understand the reference. Are you miffed that you think the seller got a freebie postage label?
You really are over-thinking this. Leave your feedback and move on with your life.I need to think of something new here...0 -
Marked as dispatched means processed. They don't know exactly where it is in the sacks of mail, or wait until said sack is picked up and then go back to the order queue to find the exact order and then mark it is dispatched.
The other logical error in the original post was the assumption that items move through the mail network at the same speed and the same number of hops.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise.
