Hi fellow declutterers
Knit Witch & Ginmonster thank you - encouragement is always appreciated. I love reading other posters lists & there are other threads where people appear to have decluttered & their cleaning regime is sooo much easier. That is what I aspire to :rotfl: My only sadness is that I will get to the point where I have nothing much to donate to the csbut not there yet
retiredinfrance - I quite like ironing but do dislike ironing fussy clothes - no matter how careful you are it always looks like you have not ironed properly
DH is fully on board but forgets to let me know what he has binned, recycled etc :rotfl:
B52 DH - Large bag of office rubbish binned
B53 Set of Authentication Certificates for Model Cars previously donated to cs - taken to cs
B54 - B55 Personal correspondence SHREDDED
B56 - B59 DH - Old light fitting, light switch, socket cover & fire alarm to Tip

Keep up the good work everyone.

Well done to everyone. This decluttering malarkey is certainly quite addictive once you get going off the starting block.
I bought 5 Denby "Daybreak" plates, 5 side plates, 3 larger side plates and 5 desert bowls from a carboot sale last summer. I paid £8 which was a bargain. I liked the set so much I decided this year when able to go carbooting I would be on the look out to add to the collection I now have. Well this week I couldn't believe my luck when I saw a huge bundle for sale on e*ay by a hospice charity. This lot had a gravy boat, salt & pepper pots, casserole dish, flan dish, fruit bowl and much more. I bid and was the lucky one to bid the highest. I paid on Weds evening and it arrived on Fri morning. It was like opening Pandora's box, well 2 boxes actually. So not only have I completed the set I have spares too now. So guess who did a massive declutter of their kitchen yesterday, yes ME. So here goes!

I have 9 boxes of maps, guidebooks and leaflets but I am finding it difficult to get rid of many of these. So, I will revisit from time to time. Meanwhile they are neatly filed and easy to access. Someone I know is interested in maps so I may pass on ones that I am unlikely to use again.
