You don't need credit to receive a text.

When did you last us the phone to call or text? I ask because if you haven't used it for a longtime then the account will be closed. You wouldn't be able to receive calls or texts. Eventually the number would be recycled and would now be in someone else's name.

I have no idea why I cannot get text, but it is not working, my partner and I have tried on his phone and our work phones, nothings is coming through.

I have turned the phone on and off a couple of times as well

I last used the phnoe to call about 5 weeks ago.

Thank you all, I'm just going to have to go and see them.

  • Sounds like you didn't use it for a long period so they cancelled it and gave the number to someone else.

Maybe get a sim from say 3 and use them, found them easy to deal with.

Sounds like you've somehow fallen foul of the anti fraud system. The acc will have been blocked until they get proof that you are really you.

maybe try ringing your phone number.

and if someone answers, have a really polite conversation.

Although the fact they asnwered, probably means the numbers been transfered.

Or that fact that it even rings and your phone doesn't means the number is lost.

Might need to try from your land line. They may have bocked you if you have been sending the number texts lol

OK now the 2nd Jan 2018, the matter is getting worse, I have a suspended account, I need to speak to EE / T mobile, but suprise suprise they are having problems with the phone lines!!

If you dial their land line there is no dialing tone.

Come on EE / T mobile, get it sorted.

How many more days am I expected to be with out a phone for, I need to do something it a bank, they have my EE / T mobile number on my records so are sending a one time password code to it, but I am unable to get this code, and cannot carry out what I want to do.

    A total joke.........................

Is there an EE / T moible / Orange rep on this site??

EE have confirmed the site is back up. A spokesperson said: "We've now resolved a technical issue that prevented us from being able to help many of our customers on the phone and online. We have restored full service and are able to help customers on the phone, online and in our stores as usual. We'd like to thank our customers for their patience while we worked to fix the issue, and we're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused."
