Ds is home safely, we stopped off at McDonalds on the way back for lunch

Dinner is in the slow cooker, (Moroccan lamb), the place is clean and tidy, I've done a couple of cheeky bets on the footie this afternoon (and a couple of qualifying bets for matched betting), and I'm sat with my feet up on the sofa waiting for the footie to kickoff. Life is good right now

So today has been a nice day, ds and I have had quite a chilled day, we went to the beach this afternoon with the dog then Mum came round after that. I showed her the brochures for my cards without telling her what I was doing. She asked me where I'd got them from as she thought they were fab and wants to place an order as she finds it really difficult to get to the shops. I was really pleased as I didn't want her to just make an order to help me, I'm pleased it's because she genuinely really likes them :T

I think my main order is being delivered tomorrow, so she is going to come and look at them and then order. She said she definitely wants some Christmas cards, wrapping paper and snowman bunting She is also going to see if she can book me in in half-term to go to her old peoples club with the cards :T

So tonight I said to ds we needed to go and buy new school shoes and he said he thought his old ones were fine (bought in May), and tbh when he got them out the cupboard they do look fine. He asked me to transfer the money I would've spent on them into the new holiday fund I've trained him well :rotfl::rotfl:

So my fedex delivery today isn't my cards, it's a display stand I'd ordered from Amazon, my cards are coming on friday.

I've cleaned the bathroom, put a load of washing on, emptied and refilled the dishwasher, ds has gone off to work and I've got the house to myself again I might cut Mums grass today if the sun stays out, other than that it will be a pottering, organising kinda day again. My favourite kinda day

Popped into work today to get a few bits straight before I go back in 10 days :cool:

I've just had an email to say my xmas stock has been dispatched so will be arriving tomorrow :j

I've also sold an item on ebay for £8, it was an item I got at a car boot sale for £1

Just redone this months banking and it still appears I have £500 left :eek: I do have a week to go and I do still need to get some uniform for ds, but hopefully I should have £350 of it left by payday. If I do then I will split it between my Christmas fund and the holiday fund I think. I still keep thinking something will turn up that I've forgotten to account for as i never have money left over :rotfl:

My cards should be here within the hour, so excited to finally see them all and get my stall set up so I know how to do it on Saturday. I need to go to the bank later and get some change too.
