So today hasn't gone to plan - ds went to work and then came home half an hour later in tears. I couldn't get anything out of him at all other than he was going back at 2. When he came home tonight it turns out another staff member has complained about him to the supervisor who thought it was best they don't work together, so ds was sent home and went back when she finished. I only know ds' side of it and its all a learning curve for him. He was very upset this morning though so my plans of doing errands went out the window.
I did manage to get his school jumper, post the ebay parcel and that was about it. Hopefully tomorrow will be more successfulMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

So this morning has been more productive; I have had my bath, been to the bank and paid in some cash I had and swapped the 6 old £1 coins I found around the house for 3 x £2 coins which have been put in the holiday pot. I was going to bin the old coins as I thought it was too late to do anything with them but the bank were happy to swap them :T
I've also collected the free Tempur travel pillow from earlier this month, it is rrp £50 although I can't imagine anyone would pay that much for it. Not decided yet whether to give it to my brother for Christmas or to stick it on ebay.
Mum and I have been out for lunch and I've just dropped her home, it was lovely except for the blooming wasps everywhere
Postie has delivered me various advent calendars that weren't in stock when I places my order, so they need to be added to my stock inventory and put away with the rest of my stock.
This afternoon is a major housework and end of month sort out kinda afternoon. Looking forward to sticking some music on and getting stuck in. Windows are wide open, lots of lovely fresh air coming in and now it's time to get this place ship-shapeMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

So today is payday, I've checked all the accounts and there were a few bits and pieces I'd forgotten about that went out, anyway I'm left with £222 at the end of the month
I'm not expecting any major spends today as I'm going out with a friend to the hospital this morning and then round to a friends house for coffee later. I may need to get a bottle or something to take with me and pay for the hospital car park but other than that it should be fairly cheap.
So,if I allow the £22 for spends today and then I'll put £100 in my Christmas fund and £100 in the holiday fund. I'm well chuffed with that, it's unheard of for me to have leftovers at the end of the month these days :TMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

This morning I took friend to the hospital, we parked nearby so didn't have to pay then I took a load of Mums old clothes to the cash4clothes place and got £6.40, they gave it to me in £2 coins so that's gone into the holiday pot

Glad to hear all is good in DS's world. It is a worry when they have a bit of a blip. He has done brilliantly!

So glad DS was able to go back to work, he seems to be enjoying it. Shame someone had to upset him though.
You’re doing really well on the money making this summer - shame you have to go back to work soon :rotfl::rotfl:Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

He does love his job and he definitely loves the money he makes. I transfer £10 every week from his earnings into his savings account and he does now spend most of the rest, usually on computer games but he's earned it.
I'm definitely not wanting to go back to work, I want to focus on my cards and matched betting but needs mustI will try and get some betting done over this weekend to get Septembers moneymaking underway.
I have transferred my usual £350 from my wages into my brothers pot. As from today my contract has changed at work and I will be getting about an extra £50 a month. I haven't yet decided whether this will go into my brothers fund or the holiday fundMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
