So this morning I have weeded the front and back gardens, emptied and cleaned the wheelie bin as it had maggots , I'm still working on the banking .... have prepped dinner and put the beef in the slow cooker.
Now time to watch some footie and I am going to relist various bits and pieces on ebay while I do it, they will just live in the garage in a box all winter otherwise so I may as well try and sell a few more bits and get a few more pennies. I have done quite well with it recently. It is all stuff of mine / ds's so I am selling them on my personal ebay account rather than my business reselling one. At least this means I don't have to pay to list themMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

So another summer holidays comes to an end
It has absolutely flown by this year although we did have the most amazing holiday in the middle of it, both our birthdays and I've set up my card venture, so quite a bit has happened
Mum came round for dinner tonight, she's really not good at the moment so I'm worrying about her
So September, let's see what you have in store for us - normally I am wide awake on the last night of the holidays as I'm thinking about all the things I need to do tomorrow, but hopefully as the dog had me up stupidly early this morning I might just nod off quite quickly tonightMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Ahh, so I've survived the first week back, it has been super crazy and I am quite worried about how much crazier things are still going to get
Hey ho. Today though I have done a gift fair and took £65 which I'm happy with. Overall once the cost of stock and the pitch fee are taken out I reckon I've just broken even, but I have given out lots of brochures and my aim is to build up my presence over the first few months, so all in all I'm quite happy.
Today's fair was quite different to the last, I sold about 50% Xmas stock and 50% non-Xmas. It was lots of individual £2 cards which I haven't really had before. Lots more learning going on though - I got there having booked a 6ft table to be told I had 2 tables (they had more space than they realised), so I could really spread everything out which was great but it did leave my stall looking quite flat, so I do need to think about presentation techniques for different size stalls.
I also came home to find an item has sold on ebay for £30  Very happy with that
I've whizzed around, scooped up all the washing and stuck the machine on, emptied the dishwasher and refilled, tidied ds bedroom , generally made everywhere tidy again.
Tomorrow will be food shopping and a bit of cleaning indoors, but now it's time for a hot bath followed by pj's and the England gameMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Cloths are your friend at table top sales like that, use the boxes you bring stuff in, upside down, sideways on etc and cover with a cloth. Themes work well too so maybe add some boxes wrapped in Christmas paper to prop up some Christmas cards, a few baubles on the table too. The same for birthday cards with some added streamers or table confetti. Maybe look in charity shops for a few wicker baskets, always great for different shapes and heights."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
