Great start to my morning today - a £7 ebay sale and a message from someone on Facebook asking if I have a particular card in stock (I don't yet). She lives about a mile from me, her daughter went to my school and her daughter is the designer of the card
Really pleased on so many levels - someone who doesn't know me has found my cards on facebook, and she has ordered ten cards and asked for some brochures :j :j :jMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Right, I must stop spending money on cards now - I've done another order this morning and I'm hoping that is it now to get me properly up and running. I've bitten the bullet and ordered enough stock for a stall and also my Christmas stock as that is now released. I have invested quite a lot (about £500  ) but that includes things like a display stand and a mobile card payment machine (£20, utter bargain!). It also includes a huge amount of stock that I can always resell to other traders if the worst happens. However I'm viewing this as a long-term thing that I can work at when it suits me. I don't expect to recoup that money overnight, new businesses usually take a couple of years to make a profit so I am okay with that. At this stage it's a learning curve and once I've found my feet I will look to recruit some other traders to my team. I have invested more than I planned as I have now decided I will do events / stalls, whereas originally I was only going to sell through work. Anyone need a card?? :rotfl::rotfl:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I've delivered the brochures to the lady, have swapped back my euros into pounds and have recycled all the random batteries that were laying around the house. This afternoon I may start tackling the garage, the second load of washing is on so hopefully that can go out later too.
My plan is to find another 3 (minimum) events to book into, I need to get this up and running and make the most of ChristmasMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning all, I had a nice meal out with friends last night, then popped in to see Mum as she's not feeling great this week.
Today I have had my bath, I want to get some housework done today, nothing major but just to stay on top of it. I want to list some stuff on ebay, maybe pop to the shops for a few food bits and look for new lights for the lounge.
I had a response from one of the events I'd emailed last night so I need to get that booked in today too.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
