Today I took another load of garden stuff to the tip and then went and got the car cleaned inside and out, it was filthy so very much needed doing.
Tomorrow I have my speeding awareness course :cool:, ds is at work then he's having his haircut. I did buy myself some trousers in Sainsburys today (£16), I need to check they fit.
This morning I stripped both beds and remade them so am looking forward to getting into a nice clean bed a bit laterI managed to get all the bedding washed and dried on the line today too, just needs ironing and that's that job sorted for another week

Hospital this morning with Mum and they changed her cast and she's much happier with the new one now
Ds is off to his grandparents for the weekend tonight, he finishes work at 6 then gets the train at 6.30, so I won't see him other than to ferry him between work and the station. I'm so proud of him, he's worked so hard this holidays and it's also allowed me to get a bit of a rest in :T :T
This afternoon I have blitzed his bedroom from top to bottom, I pulled out all the furniture etc and it was absolutely filthy. It's now immaculate, (not for long no doubt), but at least for a short while
I need to make him a packed lunch to take on the train with him, he'll be hungry after work. I'll stick a creme egg in there for him too
Tonight will be spent chilling, maybe a bath and some laptop time I thinkMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Hi and welcome! :hello::hello:
So ds has been delivered to his train and is on his way to his Grandparents now. A quick M&S ready meal and I'm chilling now
I'm really pleased I got his room done earlier, I thought it would take hours but it wasn't too bad. I have just looked at the list I wrote myself at the start if the holidays and I've hardly achieved any of itHowever I have done various other bits that weren't on there. This weekend I would like to get the front garden tidied up a bit, there is football to be watched and general back to school stuff to do :cool:

Been to Tesco this morning and stocked up the cupboards. Spent £87 :eek: which is more than normal but that included new socks etc for ds and a new lunchbox for me.
Tomorrow is day one of being healthy again, back on my fitness pal, doing my 10,000 steps a day and shifting some weight before our holiday
Mum needed a couple of bits ordered from Amazon so I have paid with my vouchers and she's giving me the cash so that can be added to my brothers fund.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

So I've gone on to MFP and inputted this weeks meals, there is a bit of wiggle room in there still but at least I know roughly what I'll be having each day. Last time, when I stuck to it really well, it was mainly due to being organised and planning my meals in advance so I wasn't tempted to eat junk instead. Hopefully the same will work for me this time around.
The plan is as follows: stick to this until the summer holidays (then review where I'm at). This means I have 6 weeks, a week off school, then another 6 weeks to do.
There will be different challenges / goals along the way, ultimately the goal is to shift 18.5lbs which will take me back to 11 stone (then I can set harder goals from there).
Week One:
Goals for this week are:
* to stick to my calories as decided by mfp (1290 a day currently). Any extras I earn through exercise (from fitbit tracking) will be used for mint imperials and the odd bit of chocolate.
* to do 10,000 steps a dayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Hi benben
That sounds like a great plan. I think however you do it, organisation is the key to weightloss and fitness. A bit like money making/saving I guess.
I'm back on it tomorrow too. I'm terrible self saboteur so organisation and good habits is going to be my thing.
Looking forward to hearing how you go0 -
Thanks Frankie, I did it this way a few years back and lost two stone in 4-5 months and can honestly say it wasn't difficult whatsoever. I did Couch to 5k and ran 5k at weekends, I ate well and wasn't tempted to stray. Somehow my head was totally in the right place for it at that time. Since then I have regained it all and have made several attempts at losing it again, but my head hasn't clicked into place and so it has never really got going. Hopefully this time around it will click again
Wishing you luck tooMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
