    My 2 Rands worth added.

ATA race to the bottom. Exponential rise in court cases. Robo-claims. DVLA complicity. Up to 6 years of misery for the motorist, with little comeback on the PPC. No regulation despite DVLA stating the role is that of the ATAs, the ATAs denying any such role.

    Every little helps!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Perhaps it is time someone did a number on CEL and their almost criminal court activity.

Perhaps someone with the time and inclination could catalogue all their default judgements, contact a few of their victims to see how DJs have affected them, and publish it, along with the names and addresses of all the directors, and publish it.

Send it to every Member of Parliament, Lords and Commons, every County Court Judge, motor magazine, local Trading Standards Department. motoring forum, local paper and radio station, every blogger.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I think by just complaining to your MP is a waste of time,
as we have seen over the years, it's in one ear and
    out the other.

Murdo Fraser in Scotland is a prime example of this, our
Scottish friends have been complaining to him about
the scam for a long time ... what does he do, proposes
that the keeper is held liable ?
Such a crackpot idea that will lose him votes.
But, what is the motive of Murdo Fraser, and what does
he get out of this ???

Right now in Westminster, there are a hand full of
MP's attempting a "private members bill", let us hope
they do not follow the idiotic thoughts of Murdo Fraser

By all means, write to your MP but warn them that
if something is not done soon, you will NOT vote
for them again. It is after all the public who can make
or break an MP and then he or she needs to find
    a new job.

Government has had it's chance, they fluffed it big time
    and now it's our turn

  • Will be filling in mine now. Just another thought to get this on Which's radar - asking whether data sharing between DVLA/PPC/solicitors/debt collectors is compliant with the incoming GDPR.
