re the diet,
i am not too mobile, and i managed to lose 6st last year, by doing the keto diet (ask your trainer).
albeit yes since going down the reintroducing carbs route this year so far i have put a stone back on, but 5st net is a great thing!
keto can also reverse T2 diabetes and other ailments in some.
just a thought.0 -

Hopefully your mobility will improve also .0 -
Good to know you are walking faster and your mobility is improving.

I've still gotta check the date on the letter ,confirming the appointment . I also have to keep an eye on the post incase the appointment gets put back .
I received an email reply from the managing agents regarding the playground upstairs . Another letter is on its way to there. I replied mentioning the Sunday and the tortured pig. Hopefully that is included also .
I've been for a long walk yesterday . Today I went to pick up my medicine ,and went for another walk also . Sunny today, but apparently rain for most of tomorrow is forecast .
I may, if I have the motivation paint the hallway . This condition I have is worse in the morning and evening . Even the little things we take for granted like getting to the intercom before delivery person scarpers , is a pita. Walking up the hill coming back from the chemist also . Still, I will keep at it and never surrender.
My friend is due over on sat , to hopefully fix that extractor fan in the kitchen . Will I be able to twist his arm for a cider ?0 -
I'm sure you will!
Re walking, I can walk around the house, but have to use a wheelchair when out, and it's really restricted the places I can go now. No more walks in the countryside, or strolling along the beach, having a paddle. And of course, there are the obstacles out on the streets, and in shops, if I can get into them in the first place.
We take walking for granted, until we lose our mobility. I can still walk and run in my dreams though!
Keep up the training and weight loss, and your mobility should improve with time.0 -

I admire the way that you always seem positive and realistic about everything . That's the key I think , to overcome all that's thrown at us in our journey . You are an inspiration . We know we can take nothing for granted and in a way it makes us more resilient .0 -
So, this morning felt rough. Still am . I said to myself I have to paint the hallway . I got the paint , gloves , swarfega , and painting clothes from out of the cupboard . I got the roll of polythene ,and covered the carpet . I then got the roller / brush sets ..wrong size . I only have a couple of mini sets ! I could use them as the hallway is small, but if I have to do it right , it's best to have the right tools .oh, I've only got a small bit of frog tape left also. Oh well. I'll have to nip over to either branksome or Poole and get some . Unfortunately , the rain says not today , so my hallway looks like an episode of Dexter
I got the fright of my life when I heard the " family" running down the stairs . When they went out , I had to put the recycling and rubbish out . I bumped into my other neighbour who is on the committee of our block , so he is now aware that it's the second complaint I have made . The people next door , have periodicals delivered with my no,and the chap comes in and collects as and when . The family decided to Chuck the post on the floor . They know the guy next door and know my name . I assume it was the part time husband that did this . Idiots .

Thanks AC! I am fairly pragmatic, and try not to let things that I can't change, get me down. My illness is terminal, so I try to make the most of the time I have left. No point wasting it on railing against things I can't change.
Last year I got back into art, and I try to do something every day, even if it's just some doodling. I'm having so much fun, and making new friends online, it's great.
How annoying about the paint rollers and tape! It's so irritating when you're all raring to get started on something, only to find you're missing something you need. The weather here is horrible too, don't blame you for not wanting to go out in it!0 -
Ditto weather here too - it's never stopped raining all day!Debt free and Keeping on Track0

And in the North East it's still raining now...0
