I seem to think they stopped that a few years ago - just coffee now

No. I got one on Saturday! They advertise it as money off your shopping when you buy a paper but I believe the price of the paper is counted towards the money you need to spend toget a coffee. Very little when the notional cost of the coffee counts too!

So, what has been going on lately ? ..in the early hours of last Friday the ceiling extractor on my kitchen decided to fall down . Well , almost
Thankfully , everything is still intact . My friend is due to come over and between us , hopefully manage to refit it .

On Saturday , a few of us had a social gathering in Brockenhurst once again . We picked the right day to go .

Saw mr. Trainer on Monday , and all good . I must make more appearances during the coming weeks . I must also cut down on bread , albeit gluten free.
On the health side of things , the sleep pattern has been pretty crap until about 3 days ago . The legs fluctuate .

Today I went to Dorchester . The high street seems very similar to Poole . Nice place .

The kids upstairs have been very noisy over the last couple of days .
Yes I know, it's half term . However, I got very annoyed when one of the kids locked himself out . This meant that instead of pressing the intercom , he was banging loudly onto the communal door .
Not impressed . I decided to send another email to the managing agents . I mentioned basically that the mother may not know ,as she is concentrating on the baby she had last year. Also ,that I believe that the family has outgrown the flat . I mentioned that they should be out in the park . I'll leave it there for now .
  • Ooh I love Dorchester, so much character and history. Do you know about the original plaque on the bridge at the bottom of the hill? It states that if you deface the bridge you will be sent to Australia. Not so great back in the day but would save a fortune on an air ticket today :D

It turns out the answer to my problems wasn’t at the bottom of this tub of ice-cream, 🍨 but the important thing is that I tried...

I missed that money saving tip  I'll look out for it next time I go.

AC, the gluten free bread is a bit of a trap. It is full of processed nonsense and it makes you crave more very quickly as it affects blood sugar. It will make you gain weight. It took me ages to learn this lesson as I am GF and thought the products were doing me a favour. They are not.

    Sorry about the noisy children.

Good to see you out and about socialising, especially with the better weather :)

Thanks for the tip on the gluten free bread DIA :)
It's annoying really , as thats what mr trainer advised me to have .
I'll be going back on wholemeal , but will cut it down . Yes, gluten free seems a rip off .

I came back from food shopping today, and I saw the communal door wide open again, one of the kids with a football in his hands , and the father just sitting in his car . I just closed the door when I went in.
They have been very quiet today for some reason .
They're not a bad family , but the parents seem to just forget that they should realise that there are others here..like me .
I have been getting a few spiders crawling through the door , due to them leaving the door open all the time . I'm spraying the spider prevention spray daily from now on . I don't like surprises .
    It could be worse .

Tomorrow looks to be the hotteset day of the year . Then by Monday it should be back to normal temps for this time of year .

Weekend was fine . Well, until yesterday . The kids made a bit of noise in the communal area for 7/8 mins . Fair enough.
A few mins later , the sound of a tortured pig was coming into my living room . I had enough . I went out to have a look . I saw the woman carrying the bawling brat up the stairs . I just shouted
' Jesus Christ ' and slammed the door . It was Sunday after all .
I'm waiting for a reply from the managing agents ,but will mention this also when they do respond ..

I have been moving more freely on the legs . I also know that it's about time I moved myself quicker when going about my business .
I walked faster to my appointment with mr trainer today .
Sure, I was in pain , but I have to step up and put some fire in my @rse. Anyway , had a good tough session with mr trainer today .
I have to eliminate bread altogether . I did for a while , but bad habits have been creeping in again . If I can do that, it's a another major improvement in my progression . Mr trainer is still thoroughly impressed , so that's good .

I have to go back to see mr specialist at st Thomas 's in London either next Tuesday or the Tuesday after that . That's if appointment is not cancelled . I expect it will probably be the last time I will have to see him for sone time . We'll see ..
