  • Hi gigervamp :)
The appointment was cancelled . Good job i checked the u c website
My next appt is in sept , where they want " further evidence"..

Regarding the flat , it does seem that I have good managing agents .
That may be useful if I have issues ( hopefully not).
    We'll see..
  • Weird feelings . Good, bad and confusing .
The pain from my legs doesn't seem as bad at the moment. My sleep pattern is patchy again . I have a few ideas about doing stuff then feel out of energy . I think it's about 6 weeks since I quit prednisolone
Probably the withdrawal side effects .. I do feel a bit lighter though .

Got an email from the managing agents . They never sent a note to the neighbours . I'm a little surprised . They said they would send a note in the next few days . They asked if I actually spoke to them
I explained the situation . I then said that they were a nice family but reserved etc. I then said it's best to remind them about running outside my window and jumping on the ceiling as I mentioned already
Not sure if I've done the right thing as they seem to have quietened down . Then again they were taking over the whole house , and I don't want that happening again in the summer holidays .

Got replacement shelf today for fridge door . Perfect fit ...

It sounds as if you have nipped the neighbour situation in the bud.

I guess you were on the drugs for a long time so it will take a while to normalise.

    All sounding good :)

    Thanks for the update AC

I'm sure many of your followers will be wondering where you now are financially, most are probably too polite to ask. Lol.

Not me though. With your claim and the benefit now being paid, are you breaking even and no longer whiling away your reserves? I do hope so.
  • Valid point Harz. A lot of people have been asking the same thing .
I did take your advice and put some away in my last diary .
Getting it out is a problem .
I'm ok for about another 6 months aside from that . Having said that , I am receiving money now from universal credit .
They may give me extra because of my fit note in a few months , they may backdate . Who knows ? I could move again .
I'm trying not to get depressed thinking about it for the remaining 20 years approx of my life . Life is what it is , as is death .

You can't really afford to move again.

Hi AC, How are things going for you?

Hi DIA:) I've been busy looking at other diaries forgetting about this one.
Not a huge amount to report . I've been in more pain and procrastinating about a few things . Trying to make decisions that are out of my hands regarding the myasthenia gravis and universal credit.
I am on a drug called pyridiostigamine which is specially made for my condition . The chemist left me short of a bottle . I get 2 months supply and I have to get my missing jar from Poole shopping centre
I waited patiently for over a month. My local surgery are quite good ,but I'm not overly impressed by my local chemist .

One good bit of news . I got measured by mr trainer about 9 days ago
I've lost 6" off of my waist . Still a way to go , but mr trainer is ecstatic . The chest , and face is looking thinner also .
Trying not to be either too fed up ( which I'm normally not imho) or complacent , but while I don't look like there is much wrong with me
It seems that mr trainer is the only one who understands .
There are people far worse off and if I keep persisting things may improve in the future ..

Oh, it's so annoying when the chemist (or in my case, often the surgery) do that.
With ours, if the surgery decide we've put the prescription request in too early, they stick it in a pile and forget about it. So my husband has to go down there and chase it up. Which reminds me, I haven't had my delivery of meds this week. Should have come on Tuesday, and we're in Swanage next week. Guess hubby will be going down there today.

Speaking of Swanage, there's a diesel gala and beer festival on the railway there this weekend. I love old trains, so hoping to go on Sunday. The beer festival is being held in Corfe, at the pub next to the station, and the trains are running until 11pm.

Great news on the weight loss AC. 6 inches is not to be sniffed at. You didn't put all the weight on overnight, so it'll take a while to get rid of it, but losing it slow and steady is the best way. Keep at it.

    Hi gigervamp :)
Hope you get your meds sorted . When they mess things up it can be a real pita, as you've said . I looked at the boots website and the phone no listed was for the opticians . Thankfully , I pressed zero which was not listed on the options and the nice lady gave me the correct no to ring. When I eventually got that , I got a stroppy idiototic woman on the phone who spoke to the main pharmacist and my pyrodistigamine will be there in the afternoon . I politely told them I would be coming in tomorrow and there was no rush . I suppose they may get a lot of anxious people on the phone :)

Yes I should get there on the weight eventually , and through perseverence I should get there . Mr trainer is hoping to branch out and open a small gym in the not too distant future . I gave him a good testimonial yesterday and he'll be putting the pics to it ( before and after sort of thing ) . That should eventually work out cheaper also.
Swanage sounds good . You'll have a great time .

The neighbours have been a lot quieter of late . The other neighbours I saw briefly and they seem fine and think I'm quiet . So far so good.

I am in credit with EDF and they are reducing my direct debits . I may pay upfront and cancel direct debits till next spring . Not sure .
I may payoff water as well not sure yet . The council tax doesn't have to be paid until sept .£9 something . Then £25 pm there after unless things change . So still on top of things at the moment .
I had a pushy guy call me from Vodafone . One can only guess what he was on , talking 100 words a minute . I ignored a couple more calls as he never called when I asked . I'm due to change tariff / upgrade/ sim only ..whatever is cheaper . I may give them live chat discussion soon . I have the iPhone s e , but don't want that to be slowing down due to software updates and I do not require anything more expensive than that . We'll see ..
