Having said I didn't need anything else but wouldn't declare just in case... Yeah, spent a bit more. Dd was home ill and wanted a few things, and I had to get her some chillis for her cookery lesson, and then I saw some lovely ys things. I hadn't actually set foot in a shop for over 2 weeks, so it was a bit exciting. Anyway, I am ending January with a spend total of £87.97/£100. Happy with this, as I can't remember the last time I came in under target. However, I have been very mindful of all purchases so far this year, and it seems to be working in all areas of my finances!
See you all in February:)

Thanks SaveDosh x.
Evening all. I had one last spend today after OH returned from the hospital. I bought salad vegetables for along with fruit, yoghurt, and some convenience foods he can pop in the oven. I also got a few things for me. For this shop he gave me €40 in cash and the total came to €44.86. I’m going to count the €4.86 I spent out of pocket toward my January total.
That brings January to €377.92/€550.00 and 8 NSD.
I’m over my original estimate of €250 but I had to add OH back into the equation when he was ill. I’ll live with it.0 -

Hi there, I was wondering how you budget for the Costco trips, because the bits from there last longer than a month (usually), but the budget takes a hit in the month you're in. Just wondered how you worked it into your budget, as this is something I struggle with!GC Challenge 2018:
Jan £309.44/£290.72
Feb £204.81/£290
March £153.60/£3000 -
Declaring for January
Three more to go on:
£52.91 to Mr T on 25th. He kindly send me a £5 voucher, such a nice man!
£16.95 to Mr S
£42 to Zooplus on catfood (hamster needed a new wheeland by stocking on catfood I avoided a postage charge)
Total £319.72 from my budget of £350.
I now consider December's disaster a dim and distant memory :rotfl:Officially in a clique of idiots0
