Boots Sale

Nipped in my local for a nosey on the way home; still a few of the really expensive candles; Paddywax etc, lots of Fabletics and Lucy M which they seem to have restocked since I was in the other day the Zoella calendar and last few of the large 'little something' sets which are really nice but were never worth £30 originally so at £9 doesn't really seem a bargain although I did buy one last week as thought they were nice to break down into smaller gifts.
Other than that just a load of roll wrap and a few biscuit tins still.
Definitely more stock left than at this time in other years at my local at least, the Fabletics has clearly been a bit of a flop!0 -
One thing I didn't see in my local which is normally left has been any rolls of wrap - not a single one. I wasn't going to buy any this year anyway as I have bags galore to use up and about 15 rolls of wrap from prev years (given I use 2-3 rolls a year I thought it best to use up some of what I have for once) but there's usually a few rolls about still in the 70% sale of yesteryear.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I didn't need any either tbh but I like the Kraft style printed paper so just picked up the one roll in Wilko for 10p, wouldn't have bothered otherwise although I do sometimes like to get the versatile paper if I see it cheap too; the ones that can be used for birthdays or Christmas are a win-win...0 -

Me too....hence quite a lot of it in the stash from previous buys (think most was 50p from Sainsbury's)
When does the 90% off usually start? I might try a guess at how many Zoella calendars are left :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Yes, I thought possibly next weds........ that would tie in with last year, although weds is 31st and it's been in Feb for the last few years so who knows (I don't have a brilliant track record at predicting it).
P.S. my guess for leftovers at my branch is half a dozen of those inflatable unicorn drinks holders, a broken Zoella calendar and a tin of shortbread biscuits0 -
Not Wednesday is their promotion change, not that 90% Sale would generate much work.
Dunno then, it was still on the Wednesday last year even though 70% day had been on the Friday, there's only like one island stand of stuff in mine so I'm sure they'd cope and I don't think it generally generates much extra footfall as there's usually only rubbish left! Reckon a few people are hanging on for those Zoella advent calendars though :rotfl:0 -

Oh dammit, I'm unlikely to be able to go in next Wed...OMG what AM I going to do without one of those calendars :rotfl:
(sorry, I know some people have teens who are really into them - no offence meant)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
