I haven't posted in here for probably about a month now! We went on holiday for almost two weeks, so it's certainly been busy.


I just want to thank you all for all your help during the year. It's so lovely to have this outlet to talk all things Christmas and go through plans.

Cant believe it Christmas Eve now its actually here: I will be tracking big mans progress on NORAD later (much to DH's amusement), whilst counting my blessings at how lucky we are as a family and how lucky I am to be part of such a fab little community of fellow Christmas fanatics -have a great Christmas everyone xxx

Happy Christmas fellow Christmas lovers. Had a lovely little buffet last night with other halfs two "kids" and watched Miracle on 34th Street (and may have opened a couple of presents whilst all together)

Off to see various other family members over the next three days so it is all go but we are happy and content.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas period with your families and friends. Eat plenty, drink in moderation (:rotfl:) and be happy

Presents are all now delivered to grandparents, pamper night is in full swing. Hot chocolate and love actually next.

Well despite best efforts I'm still running about like a blue bottomed fly trying to get everything sorted for tomorrow. However I am about to call it enough for the evening and put on a film and chill. Whatever isn't done can wait, the hoovering can be done in the morning and we have food / drink in for tomorrow and then the shops are open again anyway.

I might try and take a step back next year and pair things down a bit, not that we go mad but it feels like all I've done in plan plan plan yet it's still been just as hectic (though not as much as my friend I saw tonight who spent 5hrs shopping yesterday and 3hrs wrapping!)

I've already got a bit of a list of things for people for next year and ideas so once I knock some of those off I think I'll be good.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone, however and with whomever you are celebrating, and let's spare a moment if things are getting in top of us in the day to pause and remember there are many out there less fortunate than all of us xx Merry Christmas to all xx
