Creative gal this site does some nice baby bits, https://www.bundlesofjoy-shopping.co.uk/. I've bought two wooden personalised money boxes from them before as first birthday presents. They are usually quick with delivery too.
For funny dad cards, have you looked in the Scribbler? Or this site too, again quick delivery https://lovelayladesigns.co.uk/

Will post Christmas update later...it's fallen apart a bit this week, though gityd puts it into perspective...at least our ceiling is currently still where it should be.

  • Is it just me, or has been organised gone pearshaped? Had everything done, wrapped etc so I could chill & relax for December, that was clearly wishful thinking as I have to be super organised to ensure that I do everything that needs to be done. Have no idea why this has happened, but roll on 22nd Dec when I can have a lie in & decent nights sleep.

GTQ I was thinking something similar. I’ve done everything I usually do yet this past week or so has seemed a shambles. Fortunately I’m back on track now, apart from the food the essentials are done and I’m enjoying myself now. Christmas crafting session on Wednesday (Mum, sis and DD1 are coming), we’re doing paint a bauble, painting Christmas rocks and filling a glass bauble with twigs, robins and fake snow provided. Oh and lunch of course :D

Courtesy of a very patient STOKIE (who’s had to remind me of the method more than once) here is the back room tree.

Oh tell me about it, I'm not sure if it's becasue I'm then filling the space with more things I think I should do. I have next week off and has planned an easy week of doing stuff before the big day, but currently I seem to have two lunchtimes / afternoons already blocked out, another friend I'd like to see before Xmas, plus I STILL have virtually zilch for OH. We were supposed to be going out today to Xmas shop but I don't see that happening, so either I need to go out next week to do that too or suggest we go in the sales ...which I'm sure he'll hate  (too many people). So knowing my luck I'll be frantically cleaning on Xmas eve.

Peppa your trees and reindeer look fab x

GYD what a nightmare right on top if xmas glad no one was hurt
Peppa love the trees & the reindeer
storkie good luck with the fair

another one here who suddenly seems totally unorganised this week despite all the planning. The next week or so is pretty much fully booked already and not helped by the fact that dd informed me yesterday she finishes this week not next week like the boys so now need to jiggle a few things I had planned and the dog has an emergency appointment at the vets today as it looks like he now has an ear infection so that's more money I hadn't budgeted for love him but he's costing me a fortune lately :(
finally got round to wrapping most of the presents yesterday though have a few left to do as for some bizarre reason I can't find the wrapping paper I brought for Taz - it was there last week and now its no where to be seen
Still waiting on a couple of parcels and some photos then I'm pretty much finished gift wise other than a few top up vouchers which I'll pick up closer to the day.

The tree still needs finishing partly due to the fact I had gdg again for the weekend and she spent most of it trying to pull all the decs off.
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk
