So £110 - why not pop it in your signature and we can cheer you on. I don't often show my signature, as I think it takes up space on other people's diaries, but it's where I keep my running tallies to keep myself straight and to record successes/near misses/dowright abject must do better

  • Well what a slap in the face being back at work was today. It was complete toilet. There’s a horrible atmosphere right now and it’s really hard for me to just keep out of it all as much as I try. I’m just really trying not to get bogged under in it all, but it zaps me when it’s like that.

Spends day today but all budgeted boring stuff.

Wee little Aldi shop tonight to see me through until next week including the snacks for the weekend. Got some liquid for the vape on the cheap again, they seem to be doing really good deals at the mo! Some tablets. Petrol in the car. All the boring life spends.

I’m doing a bath, candles and classic on in the background to unwind and switch off for a bit before hitting some surveys pre bed. If the headache shifts.

Hope everyone has had a good Monday xx

  • Hey Coffee,

Just wanted to say you are sounding organised and forward thinking. Glad you're taking time out for self care bubble baths.

Glad you had a good time, and like others have said, at least you kept track and know what you have to pay off :D
  • Morning all!

Thanks for the kind comments, as always, you lot are amazing.

Meetings at work today so don't know how much down time I'll have. No exciting plans for the rest of the day. YS spag bol for dinner, no plans to spend anything. Probably should start sorting out bits for the weekend this evening, last night was a wash out, I was asleep by half nine, just couldn't shift the bad head! Seems to have gone this morning but I did wake up at 6am so will see how tired I am by the time I get home.

    Happy Tuesday all x

  • Sometimes you need to let go a bit. However you tracked it,saved as much as you could and put your eBay money straight onto the card. That's surely a win? Think back to what you would have done prior to organising finances? Left it, spent the eBay money and paid the minimum. So progress, although slow is still progress, and changing habits
    Debt free Feb 2021 🎉
  • Thanks, Drawingaline, you are very right. I'd have just said yes, spent, not even thought about vouchers, had no idea how much I spent, and paid the minimum payment at the end of the month. It's not the end of the world, I'll still be making a nice inroad on the debt this month. Even if I earn nothing extra I'll still be paying off £375 over and above the spend. Not all doom and gloom, not even really a bump, just a teeny little detour.

Had a case opened on ebay to the tune of £7 for item not received. Le sigh. No point in arguing the toss, may as well just refund it. Pants.
