Has 2017 Been good for you?

Financially, the year has been good. There were no unexpected expenses, returns on my diy S&S ISA are well on the positive rather than negative. Also received a smallish pay rise which was a nice surprise. OH's business has started to get busier now which is also great news for him.
On the non-financial side however there were few unexpected events - my work will be relocating out of UK due to Brexit in early 2019 - forcing me to decide whether to follow or not. Both options have negative financial consequences compared to the current situation so I'm finding it very difficult to decide.
OH also had a minor health scare which made me think how vulnerable we could be if he could not continue to work. We have emergency funds etc in place and there is no immediate reason to worry but it does make you think nevertheless if the worst were to happen.
So heading to 2018 with very mixed and unsettled feelings.
