Do I get a reduced bill if Wi-fi was faulty for 2+ weeks?

Howdy!
I’m with Vodafone for Mobile and broadband . Landline was dead for a few days, but Wi-fi was intermittently working for 2+ weeks .
2 engineers attended . New Box put in, replacing older faceplate.
No probs with Vodafone , or openreach tbh. I was polite and patient and Vodafone tech people were pleasant also.
Case closed on Monday . Got usual bill in for the latest statement today. I was wondering however, should I expect a cheaper bill next month?
Thanks

With Vodafone your kidding right ?
They will give you nothing if you don't ask for it, give them a ring and tell them your broadband wasn't working for best part of half of the month so you want a discount or else trust me you will get nothing off of them.0 -
Thank you . I am going to do that when my next bill comes at the end of jan . Thought they may have a system in place like Bt .
Seems like they haven’t0 -

You only pay for a broadband connection to your property. Any networking issues (Wi-Fi or wired) are nothing to do with your ISP. If you use their router the best you will get is a replacement one. You can always use your on router.0

Don't think that you can with Vodafone, as they wont give you the login - well certainly didn't use to.0 -
Thanks folks .
What I may do, is wait till my contract is up an then politely moan.
When I was about to quit a few months ago , I must say I was impresssed with their offer and I stayed . Btw that was to do with the phone . I’ve been with Vodafone since 1999..broadband since last December .0 -
Highly unlikely. They only guarantee fixed line connections. There are far too many variables for Vodafone to guarantee wireless connection. Judging by your post you've had your router replaced, which I would assume has been.0

But then they can't provide full support, fault diagnosis and free router replacement if there are problems.
The OP should be asking Vodafone CS for a reduction... via online chat? perhaps.
It is, however, unclear if OP had wi-fi issues (local interference, wrong channel in use, outwith Vodafone's control) or adsl/fibre broadband connection issues (which Vodafone would be 100% responsible for).0 -
Thanks again .
I haven’t had the router replaced. When I joined I got 2 routers sent in 2 days . I only used the one , until I tried the other one out incase it was a Dodgy router. As I say, the landline was out for about 4 days and the Wi-fi for almost 3 weeks. Two open reach engineers sorted it out in the end .
Good suggestion about online chat . I may give that a go .
Forgot to mention. When the first engineer sorted out the problem at the time , he was amazed at the speed of the Wi-fi . Fibre is not needed.0 -
Good to see that Vodafone have seen sense at last with allowing third party routers!
It certainly put me off considering them originally.
I'm currently with Origin, who happen to use the Vodafone fibre network.0
