Tell them deal is off unless compo for your time & costs plus £1k to your favourite charity.
    And return mail, not known

    Cheeky toads!
  • Sounds like they are super keen to move in to your property. Rather than risk losing a buyer, get the EA and /or the solicitors to have a word with the buyers, so that they fully understand the situation.
You don't want what could be a simple misunderstanding resulting in your sale falling through.
  • According to the OP's other thread, they are not FTBs so should know better

There are dummies the world over. Some FTBs can be completely clued up; some non-FTBs may not have any idea what they're doing - in fact, following the SDLT changes, a bunch of them seem not even to know if they are FTBs!

Have a lot of solicitors knocked-off today?

Ones I've looked at are open until Friday lunchtime.

Just wait until you find out they’ve taken over your gas, electric and water.
I would have phoned the EA rather than just emailed them to make sure they have a very stern word with your prospective [STRIKE]numpties[/STRIKE] buyers.
