Looked at Retail Eyes Web-site--It's in America!!!
Can I contact them in UK?Does anybody know?0 -
Just put .co.uk at the end and it will take you to the UK site with a link to register

Just remove .com and put co.uk once the page has loaded, that redirects you to uk website!:o0

I work for Retail Eyes and it's one of the best.0

I'm signing up now, more than happy to mention someone's name so they get the referral fee (the box has come up asking for it) if someone wants to PM me with their retail eyes username in the next ten mins or so... filling in the form at the moment.Very excited to be marrying my partner in crime for the last 7 years in September 2012 :jNo longer a midlandsfairy... back living in the sunny south!0

teedy - sometimes the first one takes a while - a few days IIRC as they want to check it properly, but then its free flowing from then on (depending on what comes up in your area!)0

Retail eyes have a reasonable amount of work but are among the lowest payers especially considering the length of report needed.
Saying that I still do the odd meal for them as I can't resist free food.
There are plenty of better companies out there though, maybe not always with the same volume of work though so you need to spread yourself around a bit

I was just wondering, if you become a mystery shopper then do they reimburse you fully for the things that you have to buy??
Also, if like me your really skint, do you have to the buy the things initially with your own money, or do they send you vouchers or something to buy the items with??
Thirdly, are the things you have to buy really expensive??
Lastly, do you get reimbursed quickly???
Many thanks in advance, sorry for all the questions!!!

It depends. If you have to buy a specific item, then you will usually get reimbursed fully.
Sometimes, it's just a contribution towards your spend. Say a supermarket where you just have to do normal grocery shopping, and they might offer £5 reimbursement towards your groceries. Also, if like me your really skint, do you have to the buy the things initially with your own money, or do they send you vouchers or something to buy the items with??
You have to pay out first and then claim the money back. It helps to have a credit card to put MS purchases on, and pay the things off when you get reimbursed.Thirdly, are the things you have to buy really expensive??
It varies. I've had to buy token items like a packet of crisps, up to hundereds of pounds on designer items, furniture etc.Lastly, do you get reimbursed quickly???
It varies from company to company.
The best ones pay immediately.
Most pay around 3-4 weeks after the job.
The worst take around 8 weeks and occasionally longer.0
