Who rings the police to report themselves speeding?

According to the manufacturer, it's a conventional flash with a magenta filter. But, hey, what would they know?Warwick_Hunt wrote: »I'm glad you like his example, it's wrong but I'm glad you find it useful as the digital truevlo does have an infra red flash.

Hardly a useful contribution seeing as it was just re-stating something from the other thread (linked one above your post) that the OP had already seen and acknowledged about 6 ours before you posted, but top marks for trying.0 -

Unlike you I hadn't read the other post, given I posted three minutes after the op.
Still it makes you feel that bit better.0 -
Also happened to me a few years ago, I rang up and the nice lady explained to me that when the camera roll is out of film that it widens the capture angle so it flashes oncoming motorists so in turn they ring up saying they were flashed and in turn the camera people then know they needed to change the film roll.0

I highly doubt she cared but it should be fine
Unfortunate use of the last word there :P0 -

There's only a very small number of the Truvelo D-cams in use and they're visibly very different to the Gatsos, the vast majority of them are the original model which uses a visible magenta flash and tend to get easily confused with Gatsos despite the smaller size.

John
But does that change anything I have said?
Truvelos do flash and you can see it. Truvelo D’s are used in the UK and have an infra red flash.0
