    They do flash.

Regardless, nice attempt at deflection from the fact your last post was your typical unjustified sniping. You could try addressing the substance of posts you disagree with rather than nit picking details

What substance would make your day complete?
  • Hi guys

Yes its definately a gatso it even has gatso written on the front. I have a picture but i dont know how to upload from my phone.

Sqaure flash lense and a square camera lense.

The speed camera is on godstone road whyteleafe in surrey. It is right next to a BP garage. You will see it on street view. It has all the lines on both side of the road.

Yes your right it has taught me a lesson and rightfully so. What will be will be. Im just taking the positives that people say they are only allowed to prosecute you from behind and not suppose to flash head on.. also even the ticket office said its a one way camera for speeding.

Ill keep you all updated regardless so the thread becomes complete

Out of interest when you rang 101 what exactly did you tell them, did you say that you were speeding?. I wonder if they could use this as evidence to prosecute you.
  • No i just told them i wasnt sure but she didnt even ask me if i was speeding. The woman didnt sound like she cared she was just like some cameras can operate both ways but heres the number give them a call and they will be able to tell you.

I highly doubt she cared but it should be fine

Truvelos aren't supposed to flash visibly to avoid dazzling drivers but there are reports of some doing so - likely because of damaged filters on the IR flashes they use.

The Truvelos in the UK don't use an IR flash, it's simply a magenta filter which isn't meant to dazzle drivers but it's still very noticeable.

Really, anything that actually contributes to the discussion - so not anything you're likely to provide on past record.

    Here's a good example:

Cheers for that, John. Do you know if that applies to the external flash units they sometimes use as well, or just the internal ones?

I'm glad you like his example, it's wrong but I'm glad you find it useful as the digital truevlo does have an infra red flash.
