  • Thanks again, so I took some photos and looks like it is railway bylaws and owned by GTR:

So therefore, I go down the bylaws route after asking for POPLa number from Steve Clark. Any issues with it now being over 28 days from the ticket?

What questions should I ask Indigo via snail mail?

Sorry, but I can’t view photobucket links. It keeps asking me to upgrade ‘Only $399.99 per year’.

As much as I’d like to help look at them, it would be cheaper for me to pay Indigo for you! :D

I too find Photobucket problematic. I cannot get all of it, perhaps it has had its day.

Yep, ‘Bylaws’ case. Drag it out for 6 months. Complain to the DVLA that as a consumer there is no access to ADR on offer. Why can’t you appeal to POPLA? Try to draw an answer from them.

the photos above show that indigo are taking the Hiss , one clearly states on behalf of landowner (TOC) and yet includes the BPA roundel

to the average person on the street , they think they are parking on a carpark that offers a POPLa option

if no popla is available , why the offer of it ?

    that signage is misleading

Sorry. Not sure how to resize in this forum. Can you not read it as it’s too big to fit on a screen?

OK so still not entirely sure what to do now after having (stupidly) told them I was the driver and it now being over 28 days since the original ticket. Is it to contact Steve Clarke and ask for a Popla number and also ask Indigo via snail mail for a Popla number?

And complain to DVLA about not have access to ADR?

    Thanks!

You won't get a POPLA code, this thread appears to have gone round in circles.

Just wait till the 6 months is up.

  • Hi All,

Just wanted to check that I have not missed or misunderstood anything. it is now 17 days since my appeal was rejected and 46 days since I received the penalty.

    Before xmas I will:

I am writing to BPA via email with this:

    Dear Sir,

I am writing to ask why Indigo Parking Solutions will not give me a POPla code for an alternative dispute resolution for a wrongly given Penalty Charge Notification received on 10th November as the registered keeper of the vehicle (not the driver) at Hitchin Railway Carpark (Indigo Hitchin Station Station Approach Hertfordshire Hitchin SG4 9UL). I have appealed to Indigo directly as I was displaying a valid ticket for the parking.

Please confirm why they have not given me a POPla ticket reference number and who owns the land and does this come under Bye-law rules?

Attachment of failed appeal from Indigo:

    And emailing DVLA with this...

    Dear Sir,

I am writing to complain that as a consumer there is no alternative dispute resolution for an ongoing case with Indigo Parking Solutions Hitchin Railway Carpark (Indigo Hitchin Station Station Approach Hertfordshire Hitchin SG4 9UL) as the registered keeper of the vehicle (not the driver). Please advise why this is the case and they have not given me a POPla ticket reference number.

Attachment of failed appeal from Indigo:

I wondered what I should write to Indigo with to draw it out. I thought this letter sent in a similar situation seemed to work well with Indigo dropping it. Should I write to them with this as a template (PDF in dropbox).
