Indigo Hitchin - had ticket, not displayed - private not Railway land

Hi All,
I so wish I found his forum 2 weeks ago. I appealed with photographs (and stupidly saying I was the driver) with my receipt for valid parking, but as I put in my reg to the machine I wrongly assumed it was not needed in the window also (Stupid - I know).
I then received the PCN rejecting my appeal and can pay the reduced rate £60 by the tomorrow.
I've read the Newbie thread, but Hitchin railway Car Park is with Indigo on Private land. Therefore I don't think the railways Bye law way forward is possible. Nor going via POPLA with Indigo.
Anything else I can do? Thank you so much in advance.

If you aren't prepared to do popla then you do nothing except complain to the land owner
Ignore everything except court correspondence or a letter before court action.
Assuming you are correct that this is not railway property they have 6 years to start legal action against you
(If it is railway property then the owner (only) could be taken to mags court but only 6 months for them to issue proceedings)0 -
When you took your photos, did you get any of the signs?
If you’re passing check out exactly what the signage says - take photos, let us see them. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It certainly looks like railway property on Streetview, and was managed by another PPC in 2014 I believe I don't understand where you are getting your assumptions from?0

Hi Thanks for the replies. In the letter from Indigo its specifically states private land and no mention of by-laws or railway. I thought POPLA don't arbitrate for Indigo according to other posts.
That's why I assumed not worth going POPLA and can't try the By-Law emails.0 -
NO , its only railway land that they do not give POPLa codes HOWEVER , I expect Indigo will make ac good !!!! up ("railway carpark") and NOT give you a code
have they given you a POPLa code with your rejection?Save a Rachael

It was very difficult to copy and paste the letter so have done screenshots as per above.
No code that I can see.
Also it was 10th November when it happened.0
