So the kids were off school today as well but I went into work for the morning to get some urgent bits done. I then brought some work home with me so I will do that tomorrow to try and get ahead.

Another sale tonight on FB. Slowly clearing the house and gaining money!

Also I have just signed up for a personal trainer with my friend for 8 weeks! It was on offer and I did have the money in my account. I know its not necessarily money saving but it will help me to feel better about myself hopefully. I start next Saturday at 7am!

So I have been thinking about wanting to start saving for a house deposit now even if it is only a little bit each month. I have an ISA which I was going to use so I might once the holiday balance is saved for, start saving bits into there out of any extra money I make. I think half to debts and half to ISA would be a good plan.

Right will be bed time soon as I am shattered and another day at home with the kids tomorrow as schools are closed yet again but no more driving for me!

Thank you Fay. I know this month won't be as good on the paying back of debts, but I hope it will be a good month on making extra money. Already have £5 made from a FB sale last night!

So today everyone is at home because schools are shut and little ones don't go to nursery on a Friday. I have already checked my work emails and replied to a few. Nothing urgent to be done though which is good. I will check them throughout the day and I do have some work to do from home as I left work early yesterday.

List of things to do today!
    • Washing up mountain
    • Washing mountain
    • Fill up oil and screenwash in car
    • Clean up and sort out Doll's house ready to list for sale
    • Package up Ebay sales and take to the post office
    • Buy more bubble wrap and mail bags from the post office!
    • Check banks and update spreadsheet
    • Pay Vodafone bill
    • Sort out toy box on the landing
    • Change kids beds!
    • List old OU books on ebay
    • Baking of cakes and cookies

That doesn't look a lot and I am sure that I have forgotten loads of things that I wanted to get done today!

For your ebay supplies (always type ebaby the first time!), Poundland have mailbags for, well, a pound.
And if you have somewhere to store it and a local store then Staples or whatever it has become sell a vast roll for about £7.

Thanks Joey. I think I will stock next time I am at Poundland or another cheap shop. I just need to post the items today and so have been to my local post office. Spent £2.50 and have a few mail bags and loads of bubble wrap. Still got 17 items on Ebay at the moment, 5 of which are selling but most have watchers and still got at least 3 days to go. I am hoping to list more as well today. Going to get the kids helping me to sort out their toys as I am sure there are loads more I can sell from there that they don't play with. Just waiting for the youngest to go to sleep so I can start sorting.

I've done about a third of the washing up mountain. Not done any washing yet but there is loads around the house! Need to get going but want to keep warm at the same time!

Ok so today's list has gone ok so far.

List of things to do today!
    • Washing up mountain Done a third, just about to do some more
    • Washing mountain One load on, one load in dryer
    • Fill up oil and screenwash in car Done
    • Clean up and sort out Doll's house ready to list for sale
    • Package up Ebay sales and take to the post office Done
    • Buy more bubble wrap and mail bags from the post office! Done
    • Check banks and update spreadsheet Done
    • Pay Vodafone bill
    • Sort out toy box on the landing Done
    • Change kids beds! One bed changed so far
    • List old OU books on ebay
    • Baking of cakes and cookies DD2 will do with her friend when they get back

So in addition, we sorted out a couple of boxes in the loft upstairs so that part of the loft only has a scaletrix (sp?) set, a bag of my ex's paperwork and a bag of old school books left in it which is amazing! Found more stuff to sell as well. One has been listed on ebay and I have photos of other bits which I will list somewhere once I have done some more washing up and put another load of washing on.

The older two kids are now helping me to find stuff to sell as they know the money will eventually go towards me buying a house and they are excited about that!

Another good thing in this weather is to fill balloons with water and a little food colouring and let them freeze outside.

Cut away the balloon and you have a magic globe for them to play with.

If you have balloons and colouring in your house anyway, it is dirt cheap and they are really impressed by it. You can do lots of different colours.

That is a good idea however I have neither balloons or food colouring in the house. :rotfl: I will remember it though for the next time it snows or is freezing outside. I might even get some bits to do this over the weekend.

So yesterday's list went well and I got most of it done. The only bit I didn't do was pay the Vodafone bill and list my old OU books on eBay. I cleaned up the doll's house but we think there might be some more bits of furniture for it in the loft. So today we are going to sort out the toys up there to see if there are and then I will be listing that.

    So list for today
    • Sort out the bags of toys in the main loft
    • List OU books on ebay
    • Package ebay sale and take to the post office
    • Photograph letters for car insurance and email them over
    • Phone car insurance after done this
    • Washing up mountain again
    • Dry all clothes
    • Sort out clean clothes and put away
    • Ikea trip if roads are ok
    • Take eldest to work
    • Pay vodafone bill
    • Sort out downstairs toy boxes
    • Tip run if tip is open
    • Check banks and update spreadsheet if necessary

I think that is all for today. My house is getting clearer day by day which is brilliant. I feel so much happier when the house is tidy and clear.
