Found some more bits to sell which is good but haven't got round to listing them yet!

Thanks Brizzled and Indigo for popping in and posting. Oh and thanks Brizzled for my grocery spend. Hope you don't find my diary too boring!! My grocery spend is that low because for a while I literally had hardly any money coming in, so my spend had to be £100 or less. Now that I have more money, I still stick to that same £100 per week!

Right I need to sort dinner for me and the two youngest as the eldest is out for a meal tonight with her friends and is staying there tonight as well. We are having pasta bolognaise from the freezer so using up. Am hoping to list a few more items on ebay and FB tonight before I collapse into bed!
  • Well done you on your big Spring clean. I hear you on the washing mountain, I am next to a tower that needs folding.

I took another trip run today, thought of you lol!
    Debt free Feb 2021 🎉
  • Thanks Drawing. I need to do another tip run either tomorrow or Monday! Last week it was so busy on Sunday though that it might end up being Monday. I always seem to have more rubbish to take to the tip!
  • So my plan of an early night Saturday and getting up early Sunday to tidy the downstairs without the little ones didnt work. They are both up and wide awake! I've now got to tidy around them which will be a lot harder!

Also didn't list anything else for sale last night as I was so tired. So got to do that today as well. But my eldest is going into work today which is the same place I work so I will probably go in and do some work to try and get ahead for next week. My ex has said he will come and look after the little two, I've just got to remind him this morning!

Ooooh yes a posh shed sounds amazing. Maybe I could stick whichever teenager is annoying me the most in the posh shed!!
Haha.:D That made me laugh. When the kids were little we had a summer house built in the garden so DH could work from home. It has electricity and an internet connection. When DS became a teenager his computer stuff moved down there and it's now more his place than DHs.

DS is at an FE college on a computer course, with an all male group and older teenage boys are the most politically incorrect group I've come across, well outside of Westminster and Hollywood anyway;) and they tell DS that we bought him a kennel and ask if he sleeps in it. :D

You are like a whirlwind with everything you acheived yesterday. I also need to start tidying up before family get up.

You're doing so well you're just really focussed I can't believe how much you've achieved. It does inspire me to get myself back on track!
  • Thanks Spendless and Storm. I do act a bit like a whirlwind most of the time. Even if the kids go to their dad's I sit in the house thinking what shall I do. I can't just seem to sit and relax!

Yesterday I also swapped my electric and gas to a cheaper tariff. I am still with Briitsh Gas but I have smart meters and they have just brought out a cheaper tariff so I have swapped over to that one as my one is due to end at the end of March anyway. I was also in credit with my electric so I have asked for a refund of £35.

I'm in work now so this will earn me a bit extra. I wanted to get ahead of next month so that during the week I can concentrate a bit more on doing the extra work that we have taken on. I had to bring my daughter in anyway so I thought I would spend a few hours just going through my tray and getting ahead of myself.

Great news about the energy saving as well. I suppose it's doing you good not being able to relax - you're certainly getting a lot done.
