Thank you for all the birthday wishes. So far the day has been ok, nothing out of the ordinary. I feel like I have achieved a lot in the kitchen by sorting out two and a half cupboards. I've made more room and organised things better. Small ones are napping although they will need waking up soon or they won't sleep tonight!

Happy Birthday, well done on the accomplishments and having lovely children who know how to look after their Mum, and I hope the takeway is a lovely treat.
I hope you find your bracelet soon, that's just like me and I speak as one who's just found a christmas gift that I'd put in a safe place! It's gone into the present drawer, where it should have been all along, and will come in for someone during the year.

Thanks Joey, kids are being so good now. I wanted one day where they did as they were told and didn't argue and fight. Well they can't even manage that. The oldest was ordering the youngest around whilst sat on the sofa doing nothing. So when I said she could help, she stropped off upstairs. One day is all I wanted, just one day. Well takeaway is cancelled!

Awww no, I can only imagine how much bickering you get with 6 kids! I never really got in trouble as a kid I would never do anything infront of my mum that was bad, I'd just do it when she wasn't there Call me smart haha Sometimes got caught out but usually not.

Any chance the oldest may say sorry? It's your birthday afterall.

Don't let bickering kids spoil your day. If it makes you feel better, my 2 go off like that with each other and there's only them 2 a small(ish) age gap (3 years) and I'm married to their Dad, so don't go beating yourself up that it's happened because of their number, their age group or you're doing it on your own. They do it because ..they're kids.

Well that is smart Camz to not get caught!

Eldest is stropping up in her room. I think I might change the WiFi code and stop paying her phone bill if her attitude carries on!

Thanks Spendless. I have two very small age gaps, two are only 17 months apart and two are 18 months apart! I know they are only doing it because they are kids, but I thought they would be good today just because it is my birthday!

Thanks I'm now drinking vodka with five if the six kids up in bed.
