No - Barclays cannot penalise you for not having AV on your phone atall, because they know that it is useless and that your banking details cannot be stolen in this way anyway ..

Maybe if you didnt have it on your PC, but even that would be debateable

The Kaspersky Total Security package is around £6-99.
Of course some on here will say use free or you don't need a security package at all .

How do you go about getting the discounted renewal from Kaspersky when you are a Barclays customer, I have looked on their website but can't find anything.
    Thanks

This is very short sighted by barclays.

There is nothing WRONG with Kaspersky in fact it is considered the best

I have been with them for about 45 years and barclays have just run their time and I am now going to leave

They did say withdrawn for new user but not existing users

Surely even barclays must know if people don't have any anti virus must but be a

lot lot worse - silly billys!

If you check on Kaspersky Lab News, it states they will contact you. Alternatively if you renew via My Kaspersky I've noticed the price there shows as £4.99.

It might be me being a bit thick but I can't find anything in lab news. I clicked renew license via my kaspersky and it wants £59.99.

I also received a notification from them today as my existing Total Security expires in 29 days but again it wanted £59.99.

I have been getting it for 5 devices/1 year for £6.99 through Barclays for the last 4 years, maybe they think I've had it too good for too long or as I said I am a bit thick and not doing it right.

My Kaspersky popped up the info about renewal as a notification and said I'd be contacted again just before renewal is due.

I’m not sure The United Kingdom's National Cyber Security Centre would agree with your assumption.

I'm really surprised at everyone's surprise regarding the above ..

Id stake my life that some shady USA government agency will have forced Microsoft to add a few lines of its own code here and there to windows too.

its par for the course these days
