Because rotten vegatables smell great too?
And no need to open bad meat, the packets start to buldge.
Cheese is good though, it never goes off. I go for a nice blue on it's sell by date and keep it on the windowcill for a week to ripen up a bit.
(YMMV).0 -

There’s no disguising rotten veg though, but defosted chicken as described in that post could seem perfectly fine until you start to feel ill! Scary.0 -
I have my shopping delivered monthly. I had continual issues with their veg. In one particular instance i wanted
500g of parsnips, their software told me that this would be seven individual items so i did as intructed. They sent me 3.5kg, the parsnips were like tree trunks. They sent me a miniscule loaf in a bag marked incorrectly as 800g. I put my goods on a weighing scale and posted the photo onto the facebook page. Instant response from customer service and refund. For some people enough will never be reached.0
