Hello everyone would like some help please. I am looking to go on holiday to Nice in france next year but doing my research i feel Nice would be too busy to stay in so was wondering if anyone could recommend me a place to stay just outside Nice with near public transport?
Any help would be greatfully received!!

About 30mins by train IIRC. Depending on the time of year Cannes is great but unless you've deep pockets avoid mid-end May (Film Festival week).
The train runs along the coast from Monaco to Frejus before heading inland so depending on what you want from your holiday consider (from east-west) Antibes, Cannes, Cannes Mandelieu, Agay, St Raphael/Frejus.0 -
Btw there is a bus from the airport to Nice railway station. There are also some buses to other parts of the Riviera.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

come on, I think you need to do a teeny bit more research. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

Nice is a lovely spot. How long are you going to that area for?
That might decide a destination for you. Somewhere on the train line between Cannes and Ventimiglia (across the border in Italy) might be a good choice if you do not want to stay in the city.
But do not dismiss Nice. It is buzzing, good transport links and plenty of things to do and see, and every day you can visit a different place on the wonderful train line from Cannes to Menton/Ventimiglia. if that's what you want of course!0
