    Hello!

Wondering if I'm too late to join?

I've recently had my light bulb moment with the realisation I am £20k + in debt (£21050 to be exact) and have no idea how it got to this stage.

Felling a little bit daunted by that figure so hoping to pay off the "priority debts" first - these are the ones that are killing me with high interest.

So this will be £15000 and my 1% will be £150

Hi, you’re definitely not too late to join. I’ve assigned you number 39 on our list of challengers. If you could mention your number when checking in that’d be great. I know what you mean about the total debt being daunting, that’s why I love concentrating on getting to the next 1%. Good luck with your 1%s.

#38 £82.77 / £2018, now at 4% :) Spent less on postage again so very pleased. I have all this 'spare' money sat in my paypal account, so I need to decide when to pay it into my savings. I'm tempted to pay it towards my family debt, or at least increase the monthly payments to cover this projected earning....

I'm wavering both ways between this. I owe exactly £7250 to my family member and pay a monthly amount which will see me taking forever to pay it off. I would need to repay by the time I sell my flat (if I ever sell life being life) and all being well I hope that to be in three years. It may be that I save 5k this year as an emergency fund and then start overpaying the debt then... hmms.

    #38 £110.35 at 5% finally!

£10 tracked cashback for pet insurance.
    14 ebay sales.

It has felt like so much work for little gains but the % increases have helped motivate me.

I have 9 active listings which I feel probably wont sell. They are buy it nows and some collection only so I may turn them into auctions down the line. I'm going to photo and list a load of jewellery today and I have a load of seed packets to sell. I sold some last year in joblots and made a fiver here and there so crossing my fingers.

I've also decided I may need a separate account to hold these savings to stop me spending them.... hmm...
