Letting agets credit checks

Hi, I am sick with worry. I have applied for a house, through an agent. They are going to do a credit check on me. I have a few defaults and I am worried they will show up. Looking on-line it says its only public info they see CCJ, Bankrupt, which I don't have. I am just worried that they see these defaults. I need this house as I have separated from my husband of 17 years for him cheating on me, so I am desperate. They have used a company called Vorensys? I am paying off my defaults and trying to get my credit back to the way it was!

Just public info, just like me or you. They aren't special0

Stay in your home. Ask your husband to leave for a trial period till you are both sure what will happen with the marriage.0

no, its over he is moving with his new girlfriend and I cannot afford the house on my own. The house is far to big and costs too much.0

are you 100% sure its only public records. I am honestly so sick with worry. My credit score it terrible but I have no CCJ;S and I'm not bankrupt.0

As of 3 seconds ago, I'm a letting agent. - Yes it's that simple to set up as one (except I need to register with an ombudsman scheme). Can I now see your credit history? - No.0 -
Thank you very much. Have you heard of Vorensys? I am just stressing that different companies do different checks. Sorry, for asking again with everything that has gone on lately my head is all over the place!0

Or use the money from the sale of the property to pay 6 months rent in advance. Many (not all) landlords/agents accept this where credit history/income is unknown or uncertain.0 -

(actually they look very small indeed- checked the accounts. £24k in the bank)
Ironically that's actually more info than they'll have on you. I just did a more detailed credit check on them than they will on you.0 -
